The drink was more water then soda. My fries were below half full and they hid waffle fries under my seasoned fries to make them seem more full. Burger was not ever room temp. And I had to wait in a line of 3 cars for 15 minutes for the food to be horrible. Wasted 20 bucks on 2 burgers

I just had the great pleasure today of photographing Back Yard Burgers right here in Jonesboro. The folks I worked with was absolutely outstanding! Martello and his team (Monica, Simeon, and Jena) were extremely hospitable and welcoming. While I didn’t get the chance to enjoy their great burgers, I did succumb to a piece of peach cobbler and a chocolate shake…both just make you want to cry they’re so good. I can’t thank these folks enough! I’ll be bringing my family to sit outside and catch up soon.

Most of the people I’ve encountered there ate not ffriendly. I go there sometimes because it’s close to my work and the foods pretty good usually. But they should be wearing gloves to prepare the food and they dont. I have to when I prepare food at my job. That’s just cleaner and courteous to others.

Burgers are beefy. But not much distinction between the different burgers. We got the southwest bbq and the black jack burgers. But both just seemed like a cheeseburger. Not much to the extra flavors those burgers were supposed to have. Took a while to get our order, especially for being a drive thru only place, but the staff was friendly.

Their food just isnt for me. It was like going to that one friends house for a bbq that thinks they are a grillmaster. Secretly however you are trying to feed your food to their dog and the dog doesn’t want it either, that’s the feeling at a Backyard Burgers place. The burgers literally tasted burned but at the same time tasted like they were microwaved for too long. The fries , I believe, were boiled in oil and we felt sorry that these innocent potatoes met such a cruel end. The rest of the food had all the flavor and texture of the bag they were served in, and I think that many soybeans died in the making of our meal.
I am thankful for the food that we get when we eat at a restaurant because we don’t get to go very often anymore. However, when I have to pay an exaggerated price for an inferior item, then I feel I have the right to voice my opinion. My opinion is that backyard burgers is appropriately named as the food tasted exactly like it came out of someone’s back yard and that is where ours met its end, – in our back yard burn barrel. So that no other creatures had to go through the experience that we did.

25 minute wait to place order. Once order was placed, I was told they didn’t have half of the things I ordered. Chicken sandwich undercooked. I rated the experience one star because I finally got out of the long line and back on the road. Never again.

Backyard burgers is definitely higher quality than your typical fast food. Great shakes, great burgers/sandwiches. You pay higher prices for it, too.
