Stopped in for a quick bite (skipped breakfast) before going to the grocery store. It’s been years since I have had a Backyard burger wasn’t really sure what to get so I just ordered a Classic with no Mayo and American cheese. I like their menu display. The colors (black-white-red) made it clear and easy to read. The cashier was extremely kind and helpful. I only ate the burger but that 1/3 pound burger was delicious , everything was fresh and more than plenty for lunch. Did not get the French fries or the onion rings-but I am getting onion rings next time, they look so good!

Staff is very friendly here and restaurant is very clean. We tried a few sandwiches that were made fresh. Blackened chicken sandwich doesn’t have much flavor. Mushroom Swiss burger is decent.

Very good quick burger. Much better than your average fast food burger you can get. I got the Mushroom and Swiss burger and there was quite a bit of juice, likely a combination from the burger and the cheese, but nothing excessive. And the best part about that was that the bun wasn’t soggy at all.
Also, props to the owner/manager for going to extra effort to check the ingredient list to accommodate my wife’s allergy concerns.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at a backyard burger. I was real impressed with how clean everything was in the restaurant even the bathroom (men’s).
One other thing that impressed me I could see the grill cook while ordering, and she was using a instant read thermometer on the chicken.
The food was great and was fresh.

Backyard Burgers is a place I stumbled across while traveling to Paducah to visit a few stores that I needed to visit. I had never heard of them before, as I am from Indiana and just wanted to give them a try.
Due to the things going on in the world I had to do drive thru which is fine with me. I was greeted with a very clean and easy to read menu and the person on the speaker was very easy to hear and understand.
I got a normal burger and seasoned fries. For a fast food resteraunt, it was very good, the burger tasted very fresh, the cheese actually tasted like real cheese, and the toppings all seemed very fresh and juicy. I enjoyed seemingly every part of it but the price, which is the only reason I would knock a star off.
I had to pay almost $12 for just myself for a burger meal. I can often get a sit down style resteraunt that rivals this or better for that price. If they could get that price point down to more competitive levels of fast food I would 5 star it, somewhere around $7-8 like other chains.
I would visit again however if I was ever in the area again.

Paducah, KY. Being from Hawaii I had to try their Grilled Hawaiian Chicken sandwich. The honey soy ginger sauce on it was amazing!! Much better than any other fast food teriyaki sauce (even better than the last Japanese restaurant we went to in TN). I left off the mayo and mustard, and for authentic Hawaiian flavor I’d leave off the mustard if I were you. But whatevs it was great, especially with the grilled flavor of the chicken.

Haven’t been to a backyard burger in about 2 years. My wife and I stepped inside shortly after they opened their doors for the day. We were greeted and welcomed by the cashier who helped us with our order. The restaurant was very clean and maintained. Stating the obvious here, the food was very delicious and fair priced.
