I haven’t had Backyard in a good while but last night my wife said baby let’s get some Backyard Burgers & I was cool with it. I mean it was so good it felt like the very 1st time I had it. I will definitely come back! I had the double cheeseburger meal with waffle fries & a bottled water. Absolutely delicious! DON’T sleep on this spot just try it!!

They used to have the absolute best shakes. The past few times I’ve been to this particular location the shake machine has consistently been down. They literally just reopened for business but can’t seem to get it together.
As for the N. State St. location they can’t do such a simple thing as keep milk to even make the shakes. They run out of milk on a regular basis and could care less.

Web sight stated that they were open and we went to two different locations and they both were closed and this was at lunchtime. One was inside with other business inside the same building so we used their restroom inside the building and one toilet was so full of tissue and wouldn’t flush, paper all over the floor, just nasty, told the workers beside Back Yard Burgers and the two young ladies both said they were not cleaning it up especially if it overflows. This was in Jackson Mississippi.
Not sure if Back Yard Burgers closed their business down but if so they need to update their website.

Came on 6/3/19 ordered two 2 for $6 specials with 2 cups of water. They only have me one cup of water which was pink. When I asked why water was pink and asked for my other water the young man said that they get the water from the fruit punch machine. He also informed me that he didn’t ring me up for the second drink. When asked for a fresh cup of water he refused. He didn’t not give me a receipt and closed with “I guess you can have a good day”. He was very dismissive. When I hate my food the fries wasn’t cooked all the way. I didn’t feel going back because of the treatment I received in the drive thru.

Nothing like hot food that you can feel was just prepared… cheese actually melting (not melted) on the patty …crisp waffle fries…with good customer service and drink that’s not 20% soda and 80% ice…yall, the Burgers in the Back Yard blessed my entire physical being. Or maybe I just picked up that day with the right time and location… But my God! (No, there’s not a Backyard Burger anywhere close to me so my review is totally bias to this particular location and lack of repeat visits)…

I will never got back. Food was Nasty. They didnt know how to ring up their own combo. They forgot my fries. And they ran my card, asked me to look at the receipt to see if everything was right? It wasn’t but shouldn’t they ask before they take my money??

Horrible experience, 30 minute wait, messed up my order & 2 customer in front of me orders. Young lady making orders, not realizing we could hear her states…they’re just going to have to wait in a rude tone as it was our fault. I ordered a plan burger. Just lost a family of 4 business.

I visited Backyard Burgers on Old Canton Road on 06/18/19. Normally, my experiences are great, until today. ONE. The guy who took my order took my money and gave me change with GLOVES on (from which he had just finished fixing a burger prior to). As he went to fix my food, I noticed he still had the same gloves on FROM WHICH HE HAD JUST HANDLED MONEY WITH. I notified the guy who seem to say he’s the “manager”, and he “corrected” the issue. TWO. The last time I visited this particular backyard burger was apprx one month ago. Today, I inquired about the plastic cups they give with meals, which are reusable and I have several at home. Upon asking about the cups, the same “manager” told me they stopped giving those cups out months ago (since November so he say) which I just received one apprx a month ago. The cup is no issue, I was just inquiring about it, however only to end up receiving sassiness in return. THREE. After waiting apprx 3-5 minutes for my food. I checked my food, which I always do before leaving a fast food restaurant, and my fries were OLD. They were soggy and stuck together. They tasted like they had been cooked in old grease and sitting there. After this experience today, I will not be returning back to Backyard Burger on Old Canton.
