I stopped by here while passing through Cleveland. I ordered a Black Jack Chicken sandwich. It was pretty good, but it was warm and not hot. My fries were piping hot, so I’m assuming the sandwich was made before the fries were dropped. I also had a chocolate shake and it wasn’t good. It was almost white in color and tasted more like a vanilla shake with a hint of chocolate in it. It’s worth noting that the employees were awesome and great at their jobs. I’d definitely return if I’m back in the area.

Used to be a hopping place! A little run down now but a nice, friendly staff. We caught them trying to handle a big take out order. Our food was ok, but not like a few years ago. Not like a backyard burger patty …seemed like a cafeteria type patty. Could have been a off day. I’ll try again next time I’m in Cleveland…

Great service! The hamburger is very flavorful. The sweet potato fries are slightly sweet with cinnamon and delicious. The cobbler and ice cream was the best in town. Why go anywhere else when you have Backyard Burger? highly recommend!

Super friendly lady and one other running the whole show. Looks like they’re about to close shop. Not much care for the physical facility. Takes a minute but the food is still fairly good. Cobbler was cold.

Ate here for the first time today. The food was really good. It’s not too pricey. Definitely would recommend this place to others. Only complaint was that it was kind of dirty. It was busy so it took a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait.

Service was terrible. All she had to do was listen. I had to repeat my simple order 3 times. Picnic burger with Mayo only and seasoned fries. Burger was fully loaded and fries weren’t even room temperature. so long BYB. You USED to be something to rave about.

Backyard Burgers in Cleveland, Ms has a great product and stellar customer service and this is what keeps this eatery afloat. There were only two employees working and they were efficient and friendly. Although I had to wait for a wild Turkey low carb burger and a regular wild Turkey burger, the staff made sure to continuously let me know what the status of my order was. It was a delicious low carb burger. And I was given a cobbler pie for my patient wait.
Here is where we flip the coin. This restaurant is in need of serious upkeep and repairs. There are falling ceiling tiles, buildup around cabinets near the floor. Supplies are not stocked (paper towels, condiments, straws etc). The outside doors to the restaurant were wide open. Not sure if it was due to ventilation or air flow but temperature inside was not uncomfortable. Upon leaving, one of the workers said please come back to see us again ok?
I really want to because the customer service was on point but the owners really do the brand a bad service with the quality and physical appeasement of the location. I think Cleveland deserves it and I think the workers deserve to serve in a place they can feel proud of.

Food is always good. My favorite is the wild turkey. Their seasoned fries are so good. Peach cobbler is delicious and very sweet! Staff members are always nice. Price $$

Awful!! Ordered the picnic burger for a smaller version. Burger was ICE COLD. Sent it back and the 2nd time was still cold. Great service from the counter team with our return of our food and refund. Just was not good… we expected at least a hot burger.
