Back Porch Pizza Bar is a fantastic spot with amazing pizza, great atmosphere, and excellent staff service. We tried the four-cheese with ricotta and the Italian pepperoni, both packed with flavor and that unforgettable touch of the brick oven. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the experience of enjoying pizza outdoors, surrounded by the beautiful Spanish moss, makes it absolutely worthwhile. A unique setting that turns a simple meal into something memorable.

This place is a gem! From the incredible food and drinks to the top-notch service, you won’t be disappointed. Sabrina at the front sets the bar high—her expertise, leadership, and patience in training the team truly shine. Rachel, the GM, is equally impressive and a delight to chat with. Since moving to the area, this has become our go-to spot. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is exceptional, and the food? Outstanding. You must try the Notorious Fig pizza (see pic)—it’s a game-changer. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect lunch treat for our first trip to Mt. Dora! We needed some light fare so my wife and I got a pizza to share. That rhymes. We went with the Pepper mi roni … I’m pretty sure that’s what it was called and the server got us some hot honey on the side to spice it up! Great outdoor seating. The high top tables were a little difficult to get comfy but we figure it out.

If you’re visiting Mount Dora, I highly recommend checking out this place. The food was incredible. The pizza was expertly crafted with an ideal balance of toppings and flavor combinations. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant. On Saturday nights, they even have live music. I’m definitely going back next time I visit Mount Dora.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our evening at this delightful little spot. The bartender Sabrina was incredible and made exceptional drinks. The pizza was excellent and the wings were off the chart. We spotted this place the night before and just had to try it out. So glad we did. If you come to Mount Dora come belly up to the bar and enjoy great food and service.

It would have been nice to have a lovely Valentine’s Day meal at Pisces Rising, but they were closed so they directed us to their sister restaurant Back Porch Pizza Bar. We ordered BUT they forgot our order even though we were sitting right in the bar! We sat waiting for two hours for a simple pepperoni pizza and glass of wine. Even when they realized their mistake, they did nothing to make it right. Very expensive and very disappointing…. Don’t bother.
