Finally stopped in for dinner. Friday fish fry’s were flying out the door. We had a variety of dishes and everyone reported that they were great. Everything was very affordable. The beer was cold and staff was very friendly. I’ll be going back, hopefully soon.

We had our Wedding Reception here on 10/04/2025. I cant say enough about the level of service we received. The food was excellent. We had so many comments about the food the service the whole Venue in general. Big shout out to Brad, Challi and Neco for making our day extra special!!

Such an amazing gem in my childhood home town. There are about a couple dozen BBQ places in Rochester, none of them half as good as this place. I love that they keep the menu small and simple. They nail every dish, and keep it fresh by rotating new items/specials. I have worked in the kitchen servicing equipment and have first hand knowledge, the kitchen is extremely clean. Restaurant owners like David Bannister are one in a million. His love for our Brockport town truly shines through in this place. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

We went with friends for dinner Saturday night and the food and service was amazing. My husband and I got the the clam chowder which was delicious and then we had wings which were done to perfection and the homemade blue cheese was yummy. Our friends got the meatball appetizer to split and he had the Cuban sandwich (which he raved about) and his wife got the Prime Rib and she said it was the best she ever had. David served us and he was so friendly and attentive. We love it there and happy we got to share it with our friends. Can’t wait to go back 🙂

Myself and two of my cousins went in to watch football and grab a bite to eat. Wings were delicious, atmosphere was perfect and very relaxing. Service was excellent, server (Sara) was amazing,friendly and checked on us all afternoon. She definitely makes sure you are well taken care of. Will be coming back more often. Highly recommend everyone go visit 585 Tavern.

First time here and it was hands down a the best eatery I’ve been to in my adult years. I am middle aged okay… The atmosphere was very nice, clean, and nicely decorated for the Halloween season. The service by Nick was great, he’s a sweety with a great smile and very speedy. Also the Food SO DAMN GOOD THAT BRISKET COULD MELT IN YOUR MOUTH … IT WAS BURSTING WITH FLAVOR. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! My hats off to the chef! Thank you Back Porch 585 for the stupendous afternoon lunch experience.

My brother had a country show in the back last night. I was selling raffle tickets..The food coming in for the folks in the back looked and smelled amazing. I heard all great comments as I helped gather empty plates n glasses. I hadn’t eaten all that day. But once the classic country show was done..you can bet I parked my butt up front at the bar to have dinner. The items I selected were so good I also grabbed wings to go. I will definitely be back along with my sister. She loved hers too. We wanna try the blooming onion! It’s a must. All staff was professional and fast paced and personable.

Amazing food, great drink. Can’t wait until Quick draw arrives! Soups are always freshly homemade. Menu has something for everyone and desserts Daily specials: Monday $10 wings, Tuesday back porch plates $10.99, Wednesday steak & shrimp $19.99, Thursday is always different, haddock fish fry on Friday night, Prime rib on saturdays, Buffalo Bill’s play on the projector in the back venue on Sundays. This place is very welcoming to all.

Went to a wedding reception on sat for a family member, and the staff were amazing so helpful and quick … one specific cook Brad went above and beyond to go make a special bowl of meatballs for me because I am gluten-free. I have celiac I could not have the hors d’oeuvres that they put out so he made sure that I still had something to eat he even brought them to my table when done he was absolutely friendly. He was quick and he was very helpful, very friendly, he went above and beyond to make them even though he didn’t have to it was not in the order . The customer service at 585 is amazing and I would definitely recommend people to have events there.
