The owners of the Back Nine Grill & Bar were equally inspired by the rich history of local cuisine and food preparation dating back to Rancho Carbonero. In Spanish, Carbonero is a place where charcoal is burned, much like an American BBQ. Our expansive fresh grill menu hopefully creates a pleasurable time for each of our Back Nine Grill & Bar guests, as they view part of the famed course’s front nine.

We went to Back Nine on a whim the other night hoping to enjoy a nice dinner before heading home to the SLV. Those hopes did not come to fruition. From the poor, neglectful service to the unappetizing, overpriced food it was a true letdown.

The Back Nine is a great place for lunch or dinner, and they have an outstanding happy hour. Service is generally excellent although there was one time a few years ago, on a holiday, where it was very slow. Prices are very reasonable, dishes are very good, nothing exotic. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable with a fireplace and couches in the lounge area. They have an outdoor seating area in front; it’s great when the weather is nice, though a little noisy from the nearby highway.

Amazing food, excellent quality. Ordered 3 appetizers and each one of us got something different and tried each others meals. We were all extremely satisfied, full and loved the kind attentive staff. Definitely plan on returning in the future!

The food here is always great! The staff could be more attentive.. I did wait for 30 minutes before a server came to take even just our drink order. Lots of seats inside and out. They often have large groups and it can get very loud. They have plenty of heaters outside too. (Only dislike is the dessert, none of us are ever impressed).
