Staying at a hotel for our Stone Harbor vacation, my husband and I have eaten out for every meal. We’ve had a lot of great food, but this was our favorite seafood so far. The crab cakes and fried shrimp were seafood at its finest. The french fries weren’t just a filler, they were cooked perfectly and we were given a very generous portion. I could only finish about 1/4 of my fries! It’s take out only, but delicious. If you are looking for some of the best crab cakes and seafood you’ll ever have, this is your place!

Didn’t know what to expect. Takeout only, placed my order for 5:55pm pickup. Arrived early and asked if I could add one cooked crab cake – no problem. Little neck clams, stuffed shrimp, beet and goat cheese salad and crab cakes. Highly recommend this place for the quality of the food. Everything was delicious.

It’s misleading how highly rated this place is. Food came out quickly but did not blow us away. Only thing that blew us away were the prices vs how much food you get. 2 small crabcakes and some fries for $45…unbelievable. The linguini with marinara was a Tupperware of boiled barillo pasta with store brand marinara. There are better places on the island to spend your money.

We ordered from Back Bay our last night in Stone Harbor and regretted we had not done so sooner! Delicious crab cakes! I would have to say they were the best I have ever had and one of the best meals we had on the shore this year. We will definitely be back next year at least several times. As another reviewer said Back Bay is perfect for a lazy night in the rental.
Update – I wish I could give Back Bay 10 Stars! The food was even more delicious this year and we didn’t wait till the last night and we were able to enjoy the experience three times. They are definitely at the top of our list for dining!

Last night we ordered takeout for six people. When we arrived home with the dinners we found one was missing and called them to let them know. Within 10 to 15 minutes they had another crab special dinner delivered to our house along with a pint of potato salad and a container of their fabulous crab dip. They didn’t just make it right they went above and beyond. Thanks for such great service and such great food.
