One & done…never again. Ordered the chicken & shrimp combo gif dinner and was very disappointed. Everything seemed like it was cooked to order but none of it looked or tasted fresh. Especially the chicken which was very salty and peppery at the same time. Last but least it was close to 90 degrees inside according to their thermometer on the wall near the sushi station.
Maybe worth a try but I won’t be going back.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The salmon and shrimp hibachi were delicious. The flavors were fantastic, and the portions were generous. The service was excellent, too—friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Fantastic Hibachi and Sushi. Not your normal in and out Japanese Hibachi spot. Menu has a Filipino flair to all the items and the food is prepared with more flavor and seasoning then you’ll ever find at your common hibachi express spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new Hibachi experience, all of the food was sensational.

It was perfectly mediocre. All the food we ordered was oily from the tempura, gyoza and teriyaki chicken. The chicken was tremendously overcooked and hard to chew. The tempura was pretty good and the cauliflower wings too. We were surprised when the cauliflower wings came with regular American BBQ instead of a KBBQ but they didn’t specify in the description, so that’s on us. The gyoza were not worth getting again. They were loosely filled, lacked flavor and the sauce was thinned and watery. I got the bento box and while nothing was actively bad or harming me, it wasn’t any good either. I would come back on a weeknight if I just needed something adjacent to Japanese/Hibachi cuisine, but don’t come here expecting high quality. The staff were all nice and the place was clean, the food itself was just mediocre.

The food is delicious! Our waiter was awesome he made sure we was took care of and I T was a pleasant dining experience. It’s a small restaurant but did I say the food was delicious? If you like hibachi style food then this is a great place to eat. We will be going back!

First and foremost, stellar service. Friendly, fast and attentive. Love the casual wooden decor and overall atmosphere. Plenty of seating by the bar, table and outside. And of course most importantly the food. Delicious sushi with a good selection of specialty rolls. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the Hibachi fried rice with chicken it was excellent and cooked to perfection. Today they had a special on the sushi rolls, buy one get one at half off. Loved this place and will definitely be back.

Fast and great service. The food was very good, had the right amount of seasoning. There is a nice small outdoor patio where you can eat a socially distanced lunch. The hibachi entree was large with the right amount of seafood, noodles, rice, and veggies. The interior of the establishment was cozy and clean, well maintained. I’ll be coming back again

My friend recently ordered lunch here and decided to bring me something as well. Now, I had an experience here previously so I wouldn’t have chosen this spot; however, everyone deserves a second chance right?!? So let’s get into this food: prices are a bit high in comparison to the actual portion sizes of food that you receive. I had the garlic noodles (should have been named pepper noodles because I tasted more pepper than garlic-garlic was nonexistent), mixed vegetables, which were delicious and cooked perfectly with still some crunch left! The fried ribs were the best part of the order and I wish it came with more than 4 pieces. The cauliflower wings were ehhhh, it was just okay. I also tried a dessert which was frozen ice with evaporated milk and some purple ice cream (loved the purple ice cream—although I don’t know what in the hell I was eating) and a few other weird toppings to include flan, corn flakes, and some other jellies. I didn’t like this, but I loved the purple ice cream by itself.
I would probably return but just for the ribs and veggies. They sell sushi as well but I didn’t try it.
My friend had the pork belly and it was between $11-14 and he literally had a few strips when you can purchase an entire pack at Trader Joe’s for half the price.
Overall rating would be a 3.5.

You choose your own area to sit, not a bad thing. My husband and I heard the Chicken Hibachi special which was $6 on the day we went. I must say the hibachi was delicious. We were able to choose what veggies we wanted steamed. The only thing my husband ordered and didn’t like was the Barbecued Pork, so he sent it back. It’d love to go back for more!

Best chicken hibachi I’ve had in Charlotte! The garlic noodles that came with it were crazy good. My boyfriend said the NY Strip hibachi was incredible too. Photos aren’t great because we couldn’t stop ourselves from eating them. The sign is in the front of the building but they are located at the back of the building just a heads up.
