Great for a date night! Still early in my exploration of north end restaurants but this definitely set the standard. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and the food did not disappoint. My favorite dish was the calamari. It’s was so crispy and fresh. It was perfect for an appetizer and it was a great refresher and complement to the relatively heavier pasta entrees (also incredibly tasty).

The best thing about this restaurant is the balcony-side seating.

This place was awesome. It’s very rare that i go out to nicer places like this but it makes it all worth it. We went during the boston dine out and the price you pay for all the delicious food is awesome. The service was great and the food was too, i have no complaints.

What you would expect from a North End restaurant. The calamari was okay— I felt like it could’ve been less salty and emphasized the squid more. The pasta with eggplant and cream vodka sauce was delicious! The sauce was pretty sweet, but paired well with the eggplant and cheese! The ambience is quite nice with big windows that let in the hubbub of the street! Would recommend for a less busy restaurant with god food 🙂

Pretty average. Definitely better Italian in the north end. Could have been more flavorful. Service was great but the food was just ok. My shrimp scampi was a good portion but could have used more shrimp.

Didn’t feel like authentic Italian food or atmosphere. It felt just like a regular American restaurant with Italian food. The bar area is noisy and they require every person to order an entree. My husband and I wanted to share an entree, but they didn’t allow for that. There are much better options in Little Italy. We picked Bacco because there was no wait for a table on a Saturday night. I guess we know why. The food was good but not amazing. The tomatoes in the caprese salad tasted under-ripe.

Awesome decor, great staff, incredible food. You can’t go wrong here. Avoid the main strip of North End. This place is sooo much better than so many other highly rated places. So glad we procrastinated with reservations.
