Bacchus by the Beach was such a delicious surprise. Tons of parking in the lot. The staff greets you with warmth and excitement the moment you walk through the door.

The gumbo was rich and flavorful, the smoked fish dip was perfection, and the spinach dip with crab was absolutely addictive. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

The view alone is worth the visit relaxing, coastal, and the perfect backdrop for a great meal. Even the Arnold Palmer was spot-on, which says everything about their attention to detail.

If you’re looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a laid-back beach vibe, this place is a must! Be sure to sit outside and catch the sunset. Enjoy.

A must visit for the Pass!
Outstanding restaurant with large range of seafood options as well as other choices. Especially recommend charbroiled oysters and the bread pudding- which we came for- but we also had fantastic jalapeno poppers and sandwiches.
Very attentive , friendly and professional staff. We were seated quickly and visited often.
Recommend very highly!

If you want to feel like you’re on vacation at the beach, just go to Bacchus and sit at the open air bar. The Gulf view is spectacular, the drinks are amazing, the firecracker shrimp was so yummy, and the charbroiled oysters were out of this world! It’s an amazing place to spend a lazy, beachy, tropical afternoon!

The location was really nice and the atmosphere was lovely. My seafood gumbo was missing seafood, but the roux in my bowl had a good flavor. My husband had the Pirogue and said the steak was cooked good, but had no flavor. The portions were small for the price. Unfortunately for us, our server was constantly somewhere else. We were never offered more drinks, or refills, no water, no dessert. It’s a shame because this place could be amazing.

This is the first time we have eaten at Baccus on the Beach. We WILL go back. The service was great, the food was amazing, it was very clean, it was not loud as it is in other restaurants. We absolutely enjoyed eating there yesterday 7/26/25

I treated myself to a feast at Bacchus on the Beach, and it was absolutely worth it! I ordered the Mardi Gras Poppers, a dozen combo oysters, the ribeye meal with loaded potatoes, and for dessert, I went all out with the bread pudding, sea salt caramel cheesecake, and key lime pie. Definitely a lot of food for one person, but I have no regrets bc it was all delicious.

The ribeye was incredibly tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. The loaded potatoes were fantastic, packed with flavor and the perfect side to the steak. The Mardi Gras Poppers were amazing because they were crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. My only complaint? I wish there were more, because they were that good!

The oysters were absolutely fantastic, fresh and flavorful. If you’re an oyster lover, you won’t be disappointed. And to top it all off, the desserts were excellent. The bread pudding was rich and comforting, the sea salt caramel cheesecake was perfectly balanced between sweet and salty, and the key lime pie was light, tangy, and refreshing which was a great way to end the meal.

On top of the incredible food, the customer service was absolutely amazing. The staff were super joyful to be around, making the dining experience even better. The service was also insanely quick, which was impressive considering the amount of food I ordered.

Overall, Bacchus on the Beach delivers on both quality and hospitality. Whether you’re going big with a feast or just stopping in for a great meal, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!

A bright and laid-back atmosphere, friendly and attentive waitstaff, and absolutely exquisite food. The cocktails were very boozy and tasty. The oysters Rockefeller were hearty and creamy. The fried catfish was the best catfish I’ve ever had by far– toasty nicely seasoned breading surrounding very fresh, velvety fish. Would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

Popular area restaurant, huge outdoor space with a cover so it’s perfect for a warm day, even if there’s rain. Went for brunch, exceptional service even during the rush. And this area is pretty small so feels welcoming and everyone knows someone else.

Got the oyster variety, and the eggs Benedict. Food was delicious. And I like that there’s a large bar right in the center, so it’s a great place to come for drinks.

Oh my gosh, I just had the most amazing oyster experience of my life. The raw oysters were really nice with a light saltiness, but the flavor explosion of the grilled oysters blew my mind. So succulent and juicy and perfectly cooked. I had the combo that gives you 3 of each type. They all were amazing but the cheese with jalapeno just married with the soft saltiness of the oyster and the umami. I had already ordered a dozen raw and a dozen of the combo, but was seriously thinking of asking for another dozen of the jalapeno ones. Just couldn’t find the room for it.
