Good food, good people, good vibe, and good music. We randomly found this on google search and it’s now our lowkey place! Food was delicious and good portions! Music was old school 90s and 00s hip hop and rap but it may have just been the night we were there- we loved it! It definitely looks like a dive bar outside but go in!

Halal food!!!!! Yay! I had the Moussaka and it was outstanding! I will definitely go again and order it! My friend absolutely loved his meal as well. We only eat halal and frequent Turkish/Middle Eastern/etc restaurants. This is a family owned business and everyone was exceptionally friendly! The daughter, Milad, is an outgoing super friendly attentive server and I adore her! Upon learning more about the menu, they use quality meats (not processed) and make the majority of their offerings in house, freshly made. Looking forward to going back again!

Definitely one of the better restaurants in the Homestead area. The food is fairly simple but homey and reasonably high quality. Possibly a bit pricey depending on what you get. I got to try the plain yogurt and the gyro.

I think the yogurt is homemade. Certainly seems that way. It’s a little chunky, but I actually enjoyed the authentic yogurt and nice balance of creaminess and saltiness this had. Very good authentic yogurt.

The gyro was pretty good as well. The wrapping was kind of subpar, but the meat was well made and the vegetables seemed to be fresh. Pretty okay sauce as well. It’s definitely not the best gyro I’ve had in Pittsburgh, but it’s not bad either.

All in all, if you’re looking for a good late night stop in homestead, this is a great option. Nice Mediterranean food served here.

Babylon is a one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar that not only serves incredible, authentic cuisine but also offers a level of hospitality you simply don’t find elsewhere. This family-owned and operated gem welcomes you with a warm, inviting atmosphere from the moment you step inside.
The food is an absolute must-try. With so many delicious options on the menu, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again just to experience them all. Each bite showcases the high quality and care put into every dish. Plus, their daily specials make it even more tempting—$5 Gyro Mondays are my personal favorite!
Babylon is also a great spot for larger groups, with additional seating in the back dining room. They even host fun events like karaoke nights, which you can stay updated on through their Facebook page.
This place holds such a special place in my heart—it quickly became like a second home. Every visit is a memorable one, and I can’t recommend it enough. Stop by and create your own Babylon experience!

The lamb kabobs were fantastic but the lamb shawarma was slightly overcooked. HUGE main dish portions. The falafel was tasty but was the only thing with a smaller portion. Definitely wish the dining room was open as eating in the bar was a bit less comfortable.

First time here and we LOVED it. Food is authentic and so tasty. Best hummus I’ve ever had and I’m a total foodie. Wait staff were extremely nice and very reasonable pricing. We will make the drive again for sure!

We were in town and found this nearby. It was absolutely outstanding!! If you enjoy authentic greek food then give this a try. You will not be disappointed! They had plenty of other menu options as well. Portion sizes were enormous, food was hot and amazing, staff very pleasant, good music, nice drink options, clean, just a wonderful experience. So glad we found this on a simple Google search. Already planning a return visit in the future. Thank you!

This place is a gem off the side of the road. I had no idea this restaurant/bar was here so close to home! It turned out to be such a treasure for the neighborhood. My son and I stopped by on a Wednesday evening after a friend of mine told me about it. I loooove hummus, so I was excited to try out a place so nearby. The vibe inside is perfect. It’s got a small town feel, and the staff was so welcoming and hospitable. The guy who was working was super friendly and kind, and from what I could tell, he knew the name of each person who came in, which was just cool to see. You don’t find that in many places! The food was delicious! We got hummus, Greek yogurt, chicken tenders and a Gyro. Everything was so good. You could taste that the food was homemade with love. The breading on the chicken tenders tasted like the comfort food my mom has made in the past. It was crispy and flavorful while the mest was tender and juicy. Everything was served piping hot. The French fries were so crispy and fresh, too. Hummus was fantastic, and the presentation was beautiful, as pictured. The gyro was tender and tasty. I love tzatziki sauce. All I can say is please go and support this local restaurant/bar! Especially if you live nearby in Munhall, Lincoln Place or Homestead. There really aren’t any other Mediterranean restaurants near us, this is the spot! They also have a great bar selection, and we found out they have monthly karaoke on Saturdays, so we will be stopping back for that!! Parking was ample and easy too!
