Cute little resturant in Coal Creek Canyon. The only hemp themed restaurant in the USA. Currently serving breakfast and lunch. We also recently started pizza on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 4-7:30. We will soon open in the evening every week day for pizza.

We were so excited to try Babooza’s for the first time yesterday! We’re new to the Canyon but have driven by almost daily. The dinner menu was soup and burgers and we enjoyed every bite. I personally appreciated the soup with this chilly weather setting in. Bongo was wearing many hats and provided excellent service and meals! We had a great experience and can’t wait to get back to try the other menu items.

Had a craving for some classic pub food today after talking with an acquaintance up near Lancashire, so I decided to swing by to try the fish and chips I’d heard so many rave reviews about. The chips were good, if a bit soggy from the fryer grease (not that that stopped me from devouring the lot!), but the fish was the kind of thick-cut, crispy-battered, perfect-with-lemon, fork-and-knife-worthy meal I’d been missing!
The only real drawback for me was the price. $25 for the meal, drink and tip did put a bit of a dent in my college-grad-looking-for-work budget, so it might not be something I can get every other week — but I’ll happily tighten my belt if it means I can enjoy a nice platter of pub-worthy cod once a month! (Better still if I could get a job helping to make the food too, but I shouldn’t get ahead of myself!)

I would like to give more than 5 stars for this restaurant! Veronica was so wonderful and kind to me and my family when we visited from Albuquerque, NM. When we are back we will definitely be going back to Babooza’s. We go the ultimate treatment! Food was delicious. Best fish and chips, pizza was delicious, fresh bread/bagels were the bomb and not to mention the homemade jam was great! If you are in town please, please visit this restaurant! Best around!!
