There were 4 of us and we were seated immediately. 2 waters and 2 teas were ordered. Lyle was our server for the evening. We took a moment to look at the menu and made our decisions of 2 grilled shrimp plates . One fried catfish and shrimp plate. And one amber jack plate with a ponchatrain sauce. It took a bit to get our 3 salads and then our meal.. but it sure was worth the wait. The food was enjoyed by all of us and we sampled each other’s plates.. we would definitely go back. But i still would not order tea. One was brought that looked more like water than tea.. so although the service was a little slow. The food was great so we would definitely go back

I’ve never been here before. My better half wanted to come here on Valentine’s Day. I met a reservation on their website. It took them 45 minutes longer than promised to get seated. I get it that they were busy, but why have a reservation and not honor it. I didn’t complain or anything. I just waited patiently.
I really enjoyed the food. I tried the crawfish poboy and fried shrimp. Both were really good.
My server was excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about Babin’s Shenandoah ; a Landry’s group restaurant. The ambience, the seafood selection, the menu choices, the preparation and presentation, and the cocktails – everything was worth every penny we paid.
Our server Vanessa really deserves a shout out. She was friendly, made us feel like valued guests, was patient when we took time to decide what we wanted, and helped us make the right menu selection. She’s definitely one of the best servers we had, and we eat out a lot.
What I really liked was that you can choose the fish you want ( Redfish, Catfish, Snapper etc) and how you want it prepared ( Blackened, Grilled etc)
Babin’s fish and menu selection is quite extensive, and if you also like Cajun dishes, then this is where you need to go.
I believe Christmas Day was a busy day at this restaurant, so we are glad we went on 26th Boxing day, and got personalized and unhurried attention, though there were a fair amount of diners.

My husband and I celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary at Babin’s and it was an excellent experience. Our server Cooper was so nice, friendly, and attentive. The food was exceptional, the drinks were top notch, and the desserts were yummy good. The food portions were generous. If you like Pappadeaux, you will love Babin’s for the food, atmosphere, and the prices Please go to Babin’s!!! You will thank me later

Visiting my 94 year old Uncle for his birthday. He wanted seafood. He had heard Babins was very good so we went about 8 pm. The food was fresh, presented well and quickly. The Crab bisque was exceptional as was the Greek salad. Uncle Frank loved his fried Shrimp served with onion rings and fries. We got the fresh cold oysters served on the half she’ll. Uncle frank thought they were going to be fried. I loved them more than he did. I use to eat the raw as a kid. Wash the dirt off, Crack them open with a pocket knife, put some salt and pepper, cut them loose from the shell, and eat them raw. Not for everyone, We had a great time. Thanks for reading.

Everything was awesome. Service provided by Amber was on point. Food was delicious. Only thing is that they switched to a paper straw which made the drinking experience a little less to be desired.
