We are fairly new to the area, and we heard good things about this place. We did enjoy our first visit. The food has great potential, however our steaks were bland and unfortunately barely warm. We will probably try again on a slower night.
The deco is okay, I admit it’s a little weird to have cows on the wall while we’re eating….cows LOL

TLDR: Great food. Alright atmosphere. Great availability. I will 100% be going back soon!
Food: 10/10. We had a party of 4. 3 of which got prime rib, I got the steak de burgo. The Steak de Burgo was perfectly cooked and the sauce was phenomenal. The prime rib each other party member got was perfectly cooked (we all liked medium rare). The salad bar, while small, was delicious.
Service: Slow tonight, but most of the time not slow at all. It was VERY busy, so it gets a pass. It’s a small town and even though the service was slow, the waitress was very friendly and you could visibly see her hustle. We didn’t mind, it was good company and she went out of her way after the crowd died down a bit to talk to us further while cleaning other tables.
Availability: TONS of tables. TONS of parking. It’s small town street parking, with overflow parking on the opposite side having a small parking lot (on gravel). It was a full town street so we had to park in the parking lot, we figured there would be a wait based on how many vehicles were there. Nope, got right in, sat down, and got our drinks ordered shortly after.
Atmosphere: Enjoyable atmosphere. Unsure on the dining area side, as it’s quite crowded so we preferred sitting on the bar side of the building (still had tables). They had TV’s for sports, plenty of room for walking. Though a slight haze in the air from what I’d assume the kitchen. Thus I would suggest whatever you’re wearing, be ready to change afterward. We didn’t mind at all, but I wouldn’t want to go elsewhere smelling like the steakhouse.

Babe’s was great. I had the 16oz prime rib and baked potato. The cut was generous, probably too big to be honest, but it was amazing and I happily ate it. The salad bar was great while we enjoyed our drinks and company before our food came out. Our waitress refilled drinks, removed plates, and took great care of our group.

Had reservations at 7, got there at 6:30 and was seated right away. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks, plus 15 to even be waited on. Waited 2 hours for our food and never got it, waitress rarely checked in. When checked on only brief and not concerning or apologetic. Don’t recommend

I had heard about this place so I came up to check it out. This is a nice steakhouse in a small town. However, the prices are big town prices. The steak and baked potato was delicious. The service was so, so and a little slow and we had to remind our waitress to bring our drinks. She was nice and respectful. We were not asked about appetizers or dessert otherwise the tip would have been higher. It’s about $30 (with tax) a person for the smallest steak. Atmosphere was nice, small town restaurant style. The salad bar was ok, but could use a few more options. And some of the items were hard to reach.

Great Prime Rib! Skip the fried appetizers though. Has a smaller salad bar, though everything looked fresh. One server the Wed night I went. Definitely will try to return soon!

Went here on Thursday night “pasta night.” I suppose it is all you can eat, but maybe only Joey Chestnut could eat more than one plate. They actually fill up a platter. You have your choice of several fresh cut veggies to add yo your pasta. Then you pick from grilled chicken, pepperoni, prime rib, bacon, ground beef, or shrimp to add to your pasta. You have a choice of fettuccini, bowtie pasta, or penne. They put all your choices into a large pan and cook it up in oil till it is piping hot, and then pour it onto your platter. You then get your choice of marinara or alfredo sauce, and slices of buttered garlic french bread. They also had fresh salad available to start while the pasta line thinned out. The service was as good as it could be. The place was absolutely packed.

The food and service were wonderful in this small town restaurant and bar.
Our birthday group of 13 people was well served by the staff. Large salad bar and huge prime rib.
