I used to live out here years ago and come here a lot.But moved a while ago, so it’s been probably close to twenty years since i’ve been here. And i’m happy to report it’s just as amazing as it was back then!!! I got the double cheeseburger combo, and it literally tastes just as fantastic as it did twenty years ago! I love the interior of this restaurant! They have car shows here in the summer, and all of the walls are plastered with pictures of beautiful, classic cars! This place has a nostalgic feel like an old hot dog stand from the fifties! Service was impeccable and very fast!

I had a great experience today. Amy took our order, offered us plenty of choices and was so sweet! Food came out quickly and hot. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and French fries with a small Pepsi. Everything tasted great and was fresh! We had such a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Not your regular Hot dog place. They serve Jumbo hot dogs served how ever you want it plenty of toppings to choose from. IMO. the best tasting hot dogs. Not a hot dog person they have a lot of other dishes including hamburgers poor boys beef sandwiches and more.

Been coming here for a while now. This is a true hidden gem. The food is delicious and really worth it. Ordered the double cheeseburger and some tenders the tenders were nice and juicy the burger was cooked perfectly and very filling. The fries are nice and crispy and everything is cooked to order. The portions served are more than generous. The customer service is really good and everyone is really kind. I’d highly recommend checking this place out

I got the chicken and dumpling soup, I thought it was pretty good! It had a good ratio of chicken, dumplings & veggies. I also ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, which was OK but a little too messy for me. I probably would not order that again, but it did taste good… the chicken was breaded and a good size, I would’ve preferred it with a blue cheese crumble instead of blue cheese dressing, which I think would’ve made it less messy because it started to fall apart towards the end. They had so many wrap and sandwich options, I will definitely be trying some other ones. The real star of the show were the french fries, which were so crispy, I would come back just for those for those alone!! They also 12 different options for fountain drinks and definitely got some bonus points for having Dr Pepper.
I went at around 1:30 on a weekday and most of the tables were filled, service was quick and easy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely come back to try something new along with some fries, of course. lol

Just want to let you know that something is off with your hamburgers lately. They have no taste. I thought maybe it was an odd occurance, but alas, the last 3 I had were the same. Don’t know if it’s a lack of seasoning or the cooking process. I feel like I’m getting a better burger at Babes than Mc Donalds. But Mc Donalds tasts better. Love you guys and have no other complaints about food or service. Hope to see a change!

Best food ive had in a long time. I had the Philly cheese steak fries, peanut butter chocolate shake and my friend had the western burger. They gave us a soda nobody wanted. It was fresh and soft and juicy. Definitely stopping by again if im out that way.

The first time i came in here i asked for the poorboy, the sandwich looked nothing like the picture with its condiments. I just got a piece of bread with a beef patty that wasn’t seasoned. I decided to give them another try so I ordered an Italian beef. The portion of beef was good, but it lack seasoning almost like the gravy was water down you can also taste it in the gravy when they dip it. They added a good amount of cheese but i didn’t like that fact that they use sports peppers instead of giardinera peppers. Friendly environment and alot of space. I will probably comeback to try their polish hopefully that doesn’t disappoint.

Go there for the jumbo hot dogs, poor boy, and meatball sandwich! The menu is endless and there are a ton of healthy choices, so if you can’t find something to eat, you aren’t looking hard enough. Loved the old car photos and humor in decor. Enjoy this old time diner feel!
