Great Southern cooking. Bring your appetite. There are 5 items on the menu, and you get all the sizes . We ordered the fried chicken and fried catfish. If you don’t finish and want to take with, you get a “doggie bag”(no containers). Not a fast food place. Love this place.

Bottomless sides, biscuits, and salad with a generous portion of your choice of protein being either a fried half chicken, chicken fingers (7 pcs.), grilled or roasted chicken (I don’t remember which), chicken fried steak 6 oz., or fried catfish all for 18.99 (not sure if that’s just a lunch price).

Down home is right, just a few options, I think it was baked, smoked, or fried chicken or chicken fried steak, and then all sides were bottomless and family style. Very plain very good. The salad was just lettuce with a house dressing and the lightest fluffiest biscuits I’ve ever had. The service was friendly and on point and the food was fast.
