We’ve been going to Babbo for 18 years. Always been great. Just ordered carry out. 4 dishes this size for over $140! Portions have always been huge like most pasta places. Let’s be honest, clearly they boil their 50 cent pasta in hot water. Got zero bread even though we asked for extra. Paid $9 extra for shrimp. 4 shrimp in the dish. Called and talked to the manager (Grace) who was extremely unprofessional. Sounded like she was 16 years old. No apologies, offered one free entree. Claimed their portions haven’t changed but that’s a complete lie. Food has turned into trash. Service is worse. Really sucks because this was always one of our favorites. We all ate for $140 and are still hungry. I’ll boil my own noodles for now on and it will taste better less than $10. Absolutely pathetic. We will never be back. Very disappointing bc this was a family staple for us. They will crash and burn with this quality of product and service.

We had a reservation at 7pm. We were sat down at 6:56pm and took our drink order. We got bread while we waited and the bread was absolutely amazing extremely delicious. super soft and seasoned great!
The restaurant was basically empty as it was Thursday night, we received our two drinks at 7:28pm (an espresso martini and a mojito) from a food runner
Our server came back to our table to take our food order at 7:41pm. She then told us she would bring us some more bread while we waited for our food. She brought us more oil and vinegar almost immediately, but we had to re-ask for more bread.
The restaurant was playing Cage the Elephant so that was nice.
We finally received our food at 8:19pm…Half of our food was hot and the other half of us had cold plates. I assume it had been ready and just sitting there for a long time. We had to send it back to get reheated.
We were given $4 off of our meal for the inconvenience of our meals being cold.
Two of our pastas that were cold were the same pasta (spicy alfredo), one of them came back hot and the other came back still cold. The server comped that alfredo from our bill.
The eggplant parm was really good and their meatballs are phenomenal! The spicy alfredo was pretty good, but because i was waiting an hour and a half (89 minutes) for it I wasn’t too pleased with it.
It was my birthday so we got free dessert ordered at 8:32. The Zeppoli came out at 8:46pm looked and tasted AMAZING! We immediately asked for our bill. We finally got our bill at 8:55pm
We also had empty waters for the majority of the dinner and were quite parched. We had to flag down some people to get more water.
We watched another family sit down around 7:15 and they received their food at 8:49
Our server gave us some extra bread to-go when we left which was appreciated.
We complained to our server about how slow the service was and how long it took for everything and if there was anything that could be done. The server told us “i’m sorry it felt that long to you”. Almost blew a gasket. wasn’t about how we felt…literally had the exact timestamps of when everything happened.
Overall food was pretty decent, but our experience here this night was one of the worst services we have ever received at a restaurant. I don’t know if this is an every night thing or if they were just super short staffed this night or what the issue was, but on this Thursday it was super super slow.
In short, should’ve gone to Olive Garden

Went on a Wednesday ordering 3 chicken and fettuccini specials. Thr meal was tasty fresh and well presented. Jada our server was great, as wete rest of team..was my wife’s birthday and was given a very nice ..desert. overall a 10 food and 12 service with 10 the best. Highly recommend to others and wii be returning.

If you aren’t all on the email list for the meal deal pick ups, you are missing out. I have ordered them at least 5x over the past couple years and they are a steal. Pre-order, pick Up, bake at home. Great pricing, big portions, and excellent food.
This was however my first time eating in the restaurant after a school function to end the year. Did not disappoint. Waitress was awesome, food/drink came out pretty quick. Food was good although the lemon linguini dish had some competing flavor profiles with the spicy and the lemon combined. Probably wouldn’t order again but glad i tried it. Pizza was excellent and the Mac/Cheese was some of the better you can find.
All in all, great place!

We have a group of 8 and we take over the corner of the patio area. The service is great. The food is great too. I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza that is delicious and not too salty. Other ordered a difference dishes and they all look great!

Usually great food. Ordered gnocchi trio at Queen creek location and it was terrible. Should have sent it back. Pesto sauce tasted like they put at least a cup of salt in it. Instead I mixed all the sauces together which made it barely edible. Was dehydrated the next day from the salt. Extremely disappointed.

Just had an amazing lunch with my family. The service was fantastic and our server was personable and helpful. The 3 Cheese Mac and Cheese was Soooooo good, sausages had some kick which made it all amazing. Pizza was done to perfection. All the food came quickly and it was all nice and warm. There was lots of parking close by which sad to say these days can be a pain. They were Covid aware but not crazy which allowed the experience to feel safe but I’ve been to other places where it’s ruined the experience. Price point was great value. Look forward to going back again soon

Been here a few times and always enjoyed myself but this was probably the last visit. The food has certainly gone down hill for the price. My spicy Alfredo with sausage could have been poured out of a Chef Boyardee can, another dish was just 1/4 cup of oil with lemon juice. On top of that the service is seriously lacking. Food dying in the expo window while servers are staring at customers waiting at the door, meanwhile the host/bus boy is cleaning empty tables to help seat another customer and still the servers chat away at the expo line doing nothing. Every table needs a refill or a drink and yet only one server is running around doing what she can.

We went on a Friday night and we expected a little bit of a wait. We got there at 530 we weren’t seated until a little after 6pm. They were under staffed but everyone seems to be right now. All the staff was hopping and upbeat. They all worked together very well. It was actually nice to watch how they all tried so hard and were pleasant to the customers and each other! The food was excellent. It took a while for them to get our food made as the amount of orders for to go were astronomical. But the food was exceptional and very fresh/hot when it came out. We had the chicken chipotle pasta dish and the pasta valducci. I can’t even describe how good the valducci was. The kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke heart and the rich and creamy pink sauce was wonderful!! We will be going here again! Just hoping the wait won’t be quite as long.
