This is the worst experience in Chicago that I’ve EVER had. The chicken wings were cooked in old nasty grease, the loaded fries were unseasoned and tasted like bland potatoes. Nothing else.
The boneless honey bbq wings were overcooked in that same old grease.
And they didn’t give me my 12 piece catfish nuggets… what was I charged $41 for!?
The only thing that was good was the lemonade. I need to find a way to get a refund asap or I will be disputing it with the bank. This was inedible horrible service.
Think twice before eating here.

They have a sign “Hiring Cook” they need to get one fast. Baba’s food is 50/50 whether it’s going to be good or not. Today it was not good. The Gyro had little meat and most of it was burnt. It’s Gyro meat, isn’t it already cooked and just need to warm it up. Also, they charge extra for mild sauce on fries. Ketchup and hot sauce are free.

I ordered a Jerk Italian Beef as I have in the pass before, this one was so hot that it felt like I was eating the jerk seasoning out the jar. I was only able to take one bite out of the sandwich a total waste of money.

The wings were good, my friend wanted more lemon pepper but I found my wings fine and taste good, the frozen lemonade is the true winner overall the cahsiers were nice they didn’t have a mask on but they were nice and the food was good.

I ordered Baba’s Famous Steak and Frozen Lemonade for delivery. I had the chopped steak burger, which was a fantastic fast-food burger. The half pound patty was cooked well and the flavors complimented each other. 4.1/5 I also had the crispy cheesesteak, which was not what I expected. It was more of a wrap than a traditional cheesesteak and could have used more bread. That being said, it was seasoned well and was quite filling. 3.6/5 I also had a strawberry frozen lemonade which was really good, mostly due to it being mostly sugar and slushy ice. I actually diluted it a bit with sparkling water. 3.2/5. Overall, Baba’s is a great option for halal fast food in Chicago and I definitely would eat there again! 3.8/5
