I was craving Persian food and was thrilled to discover Babajoon was conveniently located near my office. I indulged in a variety of dishes to sample the diverse menu. Each item I ordered was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend trying the ghormeh sabzi; it was an absolute delight.

In town for a few days and wanted to try a highly ranked Persian restaurant, unfortunately, this one is not par to expectation.
I asked for daily special (Albaloo Polo with Chicken) as you see, it is not really special. They just added some sour cherry on top of regular rice. This dish has to be cooked altogether to taste good.
Portions are small compared to what you pay and everything is extra. It was first time I paid for bread that should coem with Kashke Bademjan.
Their Kabob was good.

We got the beef and chicken platter, pita and hummus, with tea. My favorite was the hummus and freshly made bread! I enjoyed the tea as well. The kebabs weren’t the best I’ve had but still good. Service was perfect & our servers were kind, generous and prompt.

The original plan was to eat half of this plate and keep the rest as a dinner, but it was too good. I ended up finishing up also everything looked really clean. A sweet lady kept checking on me. Will be back for sure.

A classic Persian Cafe; we tried the jujeh, the kubideh and barg: the jujeh was second to none, juicy and delicious chicken. The barg was good but it’s never my favorite but I still had to try it as part of the soltani. The kubideh is always the draw for any Persian spot: I would give it an 8/10. Great flavor, soft and tender and perfect with sumac. Slightly more seasoning and it would get a 10 from me. The rice was puffy and saffron colored. They have their own oven to make bread on the spot but I didn’t have any room to try their homemade naan. They brought me tea at the end which was the perfect ending to a great meal. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Wow! All I can say is wow! My hubby and I are total foodies, we love a great meal and oh my goodness! We agree with everyone one else. The portion sizes are gigantic. The food is so fresh… vegetables, rice, falafel, everything is perfectly cooked, the hummus so fresh and flavorful. My husband is very picky and it even blew him away. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, we felt so comfortable and really enjoyed speaking with them. We would recommend 10/10!!!

Very good Persian food. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t been here before. The clay oven flat bread is a great add-on.

Be aware the as of Dec 2023 that the menu prices have not been updated. An 18% market adjustment is in place for all items.
Given this adjustment, I found the size of the lamb pieces in the kabob to be small and of insufficient quantity. That’s why they get 4 stars.

My wife is Iranian and its impossible to find authentic Persian food.
Babajoons is exactly that! Authentic, fresh, and delicious! The bread is made fresh, the hummus is the perfect texture and tang, the barberry chicken is to die for! My wife loves the beef shish and salad. The Persian mint tea is so refreshing. Not only is the food phenomenal but the owners and staff are incredibly kind. We use to live in Thornton so Babajoons was only a few minutes away but we moved to Lakewood several months ago and we make the 30 minute commute weekly just to get our fill. So grateful for this restaurant.

Went here for lunch with a friend and we both got the salmon kebabs. I had dill basmati and she had the Babajoon salad. We were both very satisfied with the portions, the flavors (we especially enjoyed the salmon), quality and friendliness of service, and the price points were fair. And the baklava and mint tea were both quite tasty! Will definitely be coming back!
