First time trying Uyghur cuisine, and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a family-owned restaurant run by a couple, and the place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated.

Overall, we really enjoyed the experience.
Samsa (5/5) – Flaky on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. Absolutely loved it.
Lamb Skewers (4/5) – We ordered three. The lamb was flavorful and tender.
Pearl Noodles (5/5) – Hand-pulled noodles that looked like pasta, with a creamy, spicy, and peppery flavor. The perfect combination and definitely the best dish of the day.
Veg Gam Bian Soman (3/5) – Decent, but I would have preferred a bit more flavor.

One suggestion would be to expand the protein options or offer meat replacement. Overall, a great first experience with Uyghur food. Would definitely recommend .

One of the best samsas I’ve had. Perfectly flaky on the outside and super juicy on the inside and packed with meats and sweet onions.

The skewers were tender and fresh tasting with a nice char. The lamb dish was also delicious.

The yogurt drink was super refreshing and pairs well with the meaty dishes.

The only thing was that the naan was overdone but it seem to be a one-off.

Service was great and very spacious location.

Babahan Uyghur Cafe was such a surprise. My family and I love Uyghur cuisine and so we were excited to learn that this place opened recently. They have a limited menu, but from what I can tell they have mastered all the dishes they offer. They were nice enough to allow us to size down on the Big Plate Chicken so we could try other dishes. We really liked the Uyghur Polo (only available on the weekends!) and the Gan Bian Soman. I’m still dreaming about those two dishes. If you love Uyghur cuisine or are just looking to try something different give this place a shot!

A great addition to the Halal Chinese Cuisine in DFW.
We were very impressed with the great service by the owner. She took time to explain the popular dishes. All their noodles are handcrafted fresh at the store.
The food was very flavor full and the Tea she suggested was great as well. Loved the serving dish for tea.
The location right at 75 and Legacy is a great plus!!

I recently stopped by this wonderful little Uyghur restaurant for a quick bite on a cold evening, and it was the perfect decision.

I initially ordered three lamb skewers (kebab) along with some naan, and a side of samsa. The lamb was sensational – incredibly juicy, tender, and intensely flavorful with just the right amount of spice! The food was so good that I immediately decided to order three more skewers to take home!

The samsa was equally impressive; the pastry was crispy and flaky, surrounding a rich, savory filling.

Beyond the delicious food, the restaurant itself is very cozy and welcoming, and the hosts are wonderful. I would 1000% go back for those skewers alone, but there are clearly so many more incredible dishes to try as well! Highly recommended for authentic Uyghur cuisine.

The food here is amazing and clearly fresh! I’ve been here twice and both experiences were great. The food is delicious and doesn’t leave a sluggish feeling after eating a lot. The samsa, plov, and laghman are all incredibly flavorful. Service is wonderful and very hospitable, both people we have interacted with made it their goal to socialize and make us feel comfortable. Best Uyghur restaurant in the DFW area!

This place was great! Food was amazing! The Samsa and the skewer OMG the flavor was all there. Samsa was probably the favorite of the night. Soft but flaky, meatball inside was nice and juicy sooo good. We also got the spicy Guyro Laghman which is handpulled noodles which wasnt spicy but still delicious. We also got these thicker noodle ones with meat and that was savory. That one was called Gan Bian Soman. Recommend that one too. Overall, it was great food and the workers were really nice and helpful recommending items on the menu.

DFW 最好吃的大盘鸡! I am always on the search for 大盘鸡 (Big Plate Chicken)。This is the 4th place I’ve had it at in the area and it is the best. The spice aroma is amazing. I definitely recommend it as one of the few Halal East Asian restaurants in the area!
