For drinks, I ordered the “Extra Supper Pretty” and my friend the Gowanus Gold Lager, and both were pretty good. I really enjoyed my cocktail and it gave me a nice buzz!
For appetizers, we only got the Brussels Sprouts and they were very good, also, a humongous amount. They came alongside our mains, but it didn’t take too long, even considering the restaurant was pretty busy.
We both got the salmon, and I must say I was a bit disappointed on the portion size, but the quality was good. In more details, the salmon fillet was fine, but the cauliflower puree, the sauce “Grenoblaise” and the croutons were delicious, so they made the overall dish much memorable.
About the service. The host was very friendly, but our server not so much. They weren’t necessarily unfriendly, but they didn’t seem to be in their best mood.
Food was okay – didn’t really like the eggs, a bit overcooked imo and not really salted. Bacon was thick and crispy so that was great.
Ricotta toast was especially good – def recommend that over the eggs 🙂
Drinks were great too!! I would highly recommend this place!
This is one of our fav go-to brunch spots and the new location has made it even better!!
The Brisket Bowl is our absolute favorite! It’s also fantastic for people wanting something low carb/high protein.
The back patio is lovely and we so appreciate how dog-friendly and welcoming they are to our pup!
Some people complain about the service, and when it’s busy you do have to be more assertive and ask for what you need, but we’ve never had significant issues.
Zach was super helpful during our visit today and we will certainly be back again soon!!
