I LOVE BAB KOREAN BISTRO!! These two dishes are to die for!! The pork belly is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The soondubu is really spicy, but it will warm you right in the winter. I hope they give more sausage in the soup though because they are so goooooood.

The Cream Jjamppong was amazing! It had a perfect balance creamy smoothness with a nice spicy kick. Highly recommend it. Tip: If you can’t handle too much heat, just ask for “less spicy” when ordering!

One of my fav places in boston. Been here multiple times tried almost everything in the menu. Samguypsal bokkeum was superb. It’s chewy with the spicy taste that makes me keep reaching for to another bite. Chicken katsu and jokbal so worth to try.

I ordered the Tangsuyuk (pork) and the Beef Bokkeum Bab, and the experience was really disappointing. The vegetables in the Tangsuyuk—especially the broccoli—were not cleaned properly and had visible dirty stuff inside, which was very concerning and unappetizing. The Beef Bokkeum Bab also had a strange off-smell that made it hard to eat. I really hope the restaurant improves its food cleanliness and ingredient quality because this experience was not acceptable.

Almost all our dishes were really good. The short ribs and rice were so good. The sweet and spicy chicken wasn’t spicy at all though. Wish it did have a little kick. The only thing we didn’t like was the black bean noodles.

Really chill restaurant, but was expecting more from the overall flavor of the food. The sweet and spicy wings were the best dish we ordered (great crunch), but were lacking spice.

Wow! the food was truly exceptional.

It was so extraordinary that we returned the very next day to explore the dishes we had missed the night before. Every bite reflected care, creativity, and depth of flavor. Highly recommended.

One small note: not everyone is a fan of K-Pop. Reducing the number of screens or lowering the volume ( there is no synchronization between music and screens), could greatly enhance the overall dining atmosphere.

Saw a picture of Tangsu yuk and had to try it. Tried few other dishes and they were authentic with flavors on point, but somewhat lacking ..
Pork tangsu yuk $28 came with tangsu sauce poured over already, but quickly became dry and very hard, perhaps too much starch in their batter. Tangsu sauce was good.
Jjajang myeon $14 Jjajang sauce flavor was good but again drier than typical jjajang sauce and left noodles not moist even after sauce was mixed in.
Tteok bokki $14 Thoroughly enjoyed! Full flavor and just right amount of spicy kick.
Seating was like the wood church pew chairs, hard as rock , so uncomfortable.
Vibe seemed perfect for solo diners to come and enjoy comfort foods.

We had a positive overall experience with the service at this establishment. While we did encounter a lengthy wait and found it challenging to secure a table in the past. The server was well-acquainted with the menu and provided helpful suggestions. Although the food was generally satisfactory, the Korean pancakes fell short of our expectations, lacking the desired crispiness and having a thicker flavor profile than anticipated for restaurant-style pancakes. Despite this, the attentive service and helpful staff contribute to a generally enjoyable dining experience, though we may explore other Korean options for a more tailored culinary experience in the future.

Came by for brunch today, and the food was delicious. I had the kimchi jigae, and the soup was very flavorful and not too spicy and/or salty. The perfect combination of everything inside the kimchi jigae. The seafood pancake could be a tad more crispy, as it was slightly soggy. The japchae was good, and the mandu was good. Overall, I’ll come back to try other food.
