We visited a spacious Thai restaurant with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, and the level of spiciness was adjusted perfectly for a European palate — which made us smile!
The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and polite without being intrusive. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the warm sunshine while waiting for our food.
We ordered the green curry — it was absolutely delicious — along with some gyoza. At the end of the meal, our waiter recommended the banana cake, which came warm and turned out to be the perfect way to finish our dinner.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went to this small and amazing place. We are from Suriname and we have a big community from Java. Javanese food is one of my most favorite dishes. Whenever we travel we tend to try new food. We wanted to have thai food in Sintra and went to Baan Thai… the food 1000/10. The service was amazing and the people are kind.

Amazing delicious freshly made Thai food, with some very tasty sauces.
Also they do their spice quite good, so if your a fan of a little bit of fire on your food, it’s a great place to go.
Order from them regularly, but going there for the fresh cooked experience was at another level! Try it, you won’t regret it!

Today we discovered Baan Thai in Fontanelas and we wish we had known it a while ago!
We were received with the utmost friendliness and the food was simply delicious – an authentic return to Thailand, that’s how we felt!
The Pad Thai was fabulous, the fried banana and mango sticky rice, oh my god, we have no words.
Everything is done with the utmost care, the presentation is very beautiful and the waiter who served us (we’ll know his name next time!) was very attentive, always asking if everything was ok. We will come back for sure!

Long wait for takeout as the only chef seems like to be the owner. Her food is delicious and the front does what they can do best.
The tables are not that packed.

I can’t express how much we loved this place. It is a family restaurant and so welcoming. The food was some of the best Thai food we have had, not a dish that wasn’t amazing. To anyone in the area or passing through I really hope you give it a try.

Try this place! It was so incredibly tasty. Great atmosphere with outdoor seating. Super clean. Service was impeccable. My husband got the Kao Pad Goong with pork (fried rice with eggs and vegetables) and I got the Pad Kee Mao Goong with chicken (stir fried rice noodles with vegetables in a spicy sauce). I wish I would have taken photos of the actual meal but we both sat in silence inhaling it. It was too good!
