The Fish cake starter , the texture is soft, thin and taste ok.
Papaya salad was tasty, fresh and spicy as normal Thai spices.
But the dssert (Kluay Khaek) the banana breadcrumbs too thick, and taste not nice, also size of banana and ice cream are small. Its a bit over the
price for the menu. I do not recommend.
Staff are friendly and keep asking for food allergy.

Baan Thai Street Food is a lovely and authentic spot in Cambridge. The restaurant has a calm, relaxed atmosphere with fresh air and a cozy setting—perfect for enjoying a peaceful meal.
The spicy soup was absolutely amazing—rich in flavor and perfectly balanced with heat. The salad was fresh and delicious as well. A great highlight for anyone who enjoys bold Thai flavors!
They also offer a milder, contemporary soup that’s perfect for children or anyone who prefers non-spicy dishes, which is a thoughtful touch.
Overall, a great experience with tasty food, a pleasant environment, and thoughtful menu options for everyone. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, and excellent, authentic Thai food. The prices are very good for Cambridge: we had a three course meal with drinks for just over £30 a head.

It’s ok. Bonus points for being in an old cricket pavilion. Friendly staff and very busy; clearly doing something right and has a good reputation locally.
Conservative order of Spring Rolls and Tofu Pad Thai was passable, but not exceptional
Decent prices.

Best Thai in the area. The staff are kind, courteous and helpful. The food was delicious: great starters, flavorful mains, and good drink options. The restaurant’s decor is colorful and inviting. The restaurant also has wonderful views of the green and is located near many of the attractions in the city. Will definitely visit again.

The service was friendly, but unfortunately the dish recommended by the waiter wasn’t what I was looking for. The flavor was quite average, and the milk tea was overly sweet and watery – lacking the richness I expected. The overall taste didn’t feel authentic, and it seemed like the kitchen might need more refinement. I hope the restaurant can improve on the accuracy of recommendations and the quality of the food.

This is by far my favourite place to eat in Cambridge. The meat and chicken (not beef) is halal but also great for veggie and fish options. The food is always great, it’s consistent and portions sizes are great! The staff are friendly and there is nothing to fault with it. It’s always a top recommendation for any friends or family popping into Cambridge and everyone always thoroughly enjoys it!

Service was ok, atmosphere was good. But the food… man… as an Asian and accompanied by a friend who travelled to Thailand before, we can hardly tell if these foods are Thai food or not… there’s a huge difference between their recipes and the authentic Thai recipes. Nothing we ordered was like a proper Thai… such an overrated restaurant in Cambridge
