We hadn’t been here in quite a while, but the red interior and spacious, clean atmosphere were just as nice as before, and the staff was attentive and pleasant. We had the Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai. You can choose the level of spiciness from 0 to 4, and we had the hottest level 4. Some restaurants are not spicy even at level 4, but this one is extremely spicy, so I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for spicy food. I would like to try other dishes as well.

Good tasted good and could have been better compared to all the other places around town. We ordered a noodle dish and a masuman curry. For ther price of lunch, you could add more chicken and vegetables. Friendly staff and place was clean, almost empty during lunch hour.

Red curry didn’t appeal to me on this particular day. We had ordered med spicy , I felt like the curry was spiced up by sprinkling more red chilly on the top. Just wasn’t the good day for one of us I guess.
Felt little intimidated by the waiter ( perhaps he was very busy ) , so didn’t mention my concern I had in the end .
I have been to Baan Thai , Portland State Campus location since 2012 and had very good experience.

Literally all of these bad reviews are disgruntled delivery drivers struggling to follow basic directions. The food here is a 10/10 every time I’ve ordered. The portions are very large and if you ask for it hot, they give it to you hot. My food was tightly wrapped and very warm even after bringing it home. I’ve had so many Thai places where they disappoint on portion size and heat level, but this place is awesome. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Okay, listen up because BAAN THAI doesn’t have a 5.0 and that’s pretty much a crime, so I’m doing my part. I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always excellent, the service attentive and friendly, and prices are equal or better than any quality competition. You want a curry that will burn your house down later? They’ll actually listen and deliver. You want to swap options until your food is more customized than a Pimp-My-Ride? They’ll do it with a smile.
I love that they’re never too busy, even during peak lunch and dinner hours. And I’m still willing to lose that if it gets you to go there and become one of the converted.
Go there. Seriously. Make the trip, eat the food. If you like good Thai, you’ll love this place. Can’t really put it any better than that.

So I just ordered here for the first time tonight, and let me tell you what it was fantastic. Out of all the Thai food I have ever ate, this was by FAR the best! My boyfriend loved it almost as much as he did the pad Thai in Thailand. 10/10 would recommend this place. The peanut sauce is to die for, and the fried rice is killer.

Found this place from word of mouth and it has been a really nice experience. Pre-COVID times dining-in and take outs – consistency has remained the same.
I really enjoy the Thai Green Curry and the Thai Red Curry with some sticky rice. Good quantity, good quality, quick service, good staff. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been there several times for dinner and take out, and I go there often for lunch too. I’ve tried nearly all the vegetable, noodle and curry dishes, and they’ve all been outstanding. Warning – they will make it very hot if you ask them to, the Tom Yum soup was breathtaking! Start with mild or medium and work your way up.
Thai 5 is now my favorite food place in Beaverton, which puts Thai Bloom in second place (also very good food, but higher prices).
The service is very fast and pleasant, and the owners are often your servers, so they really take care of their customers.

I work next door, and they are always super friendly and remember exactly how me and my coworker like our food and on many occasions where I have to rush back to work the owner has delivered the food to our work. Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had with great customer service to match it!
Edit: we have added more member to our staff and they still know all of our orders by name! always impressed and satisfied when I get my lunch here!
