Every dish from Baa Hachi has been exceptional. You can tell they are sourcing their ingredients with intention to prepare the most authentic Japanese street food dishes. The Head Chef, Adam, brings a long history of restaurant experience to the stall and it shows in both quality and presentation. The Pork Belly Bao buns were my favorite, with the Karagge and Yakisoba in close second. Highly recommend!

Ordered the Shayu Ramen with an extra egg, and I’m partially disappointed only at the broth. Great presentation, but maybe it was just today that the broth was veeeery oily and over salted? I could only finish the ramen and eggs with a couple spoons of broth but no more than that.
I’ll be ordering something else if/when I decide to give this place a second try. This dish was not their forte today unfortunately. I’ll update my review if the next dish I try is better.
The atmosphere of the food hall is cool and plays good music.

Decided to try the new food hall for lunch in Longmont on Friday. Highly recommend! So many great options. The friendly cashier recommended the cabbage pancake with the pork belly. It was delicious! The entire staff was working hard and they were busy. Next time I think I will try the sushi bowl as I overheard another customer complimenting the chef on that dish.

I haven’t been to this location, but I have doordashed. The food is very good. The presentation itself is phenomenal…the food even better. I got the yakisoba and was very surprised at the flavor of this dish. I also got the pork katsu sandwich it was also pretty good but it doesn’t travel well. The bread had build up condensation from the plastic packaging. That being said the pork was cooked perfectly and wasn’t dry at all.

I was very excited to try the karaage (Japanese fried chicken). I saw the chef take Redbird chicken pieces from a marinade, bread it, and begin to fry it, so I was still feeling pretty good about my lunch. However it was fried to the very edge of being burned which made the abundant breading very unpleasant and dried out the chicken. It came with 3 dipping sauces which were OK, and one teeny tiny little piece of lemon. After eating a bit I asked for a bit more lemon, as that was the high point of my meal and was given 3 more little pieces in a full sized plastic single use bowl. What a waste of chicken and plastic. I think they make better fried chicken at Safeway.

Dined for lunch at Baa Hachi. Tried the Katsu kare (curry pork): delicious and tender pork with potatoes and carrots in Japanese curry sauce!! Quite tasty!! Also tried the Beef Gyudon: tender beef slices with tasty pickled ginger, soft egg, over rice!! Nice combo. And finally, the Karaage Bao Buns: awesome crispy chicken with cucumber, mint, and mild spice mayo on a soft taco like bun. You have to try it!! Can’t explain how good it is !! Finished with a Daikon Radish salad with spinach, ginger and nori salad dressing. Food was awesome!!!

We had the Okonomiyaki (cabbage pancake) and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were delicious. I hadn’t had Okonomiyaki before so it was a great new experience. Both dishes were really flavorful. The food hall has a great vibe and I love that it’s open late (Longmont Late).

We were lucky enough do fine there on opening night. We ordered the okonomiyaki, the pork belly bar buns and the daikon and cucumber salad, and every one of them was absolutely amazing! We will be back again and again.

Pork Sando was ridiculously good. Very tender pork with an amazing glaze. Bread was spot on and the slaw added a nice kick of freshness. Thanks chefs.

Overpriced food that doesnt even meet mediocre standards. The Karagge and tonkatsu ramen were both incredibly bland. Staff did seem to be working hard though.
