Very impressed. For our appetizer, we got some sort of special. I can’t remember exactly what it was but it was delicious and very filling. I got a creamy tom yum and really enjoyed it and my partner got the ba mee noodles with duck. The portion sizes were larger than we expected and ended up having left overs. I need to come back and try more of the menu. I think I’ve been sleeping on Thai noodle dishes. The waiter was very knowledgeable and the environment felt very clean. My only critique is I like my broth piping hot and the broth here is warm but not hot.

Came here on a whim because the previous restaurant I wanted to go to was booked for the day. I had walked past it numerous times saying I’d eventually try it and boyyyy do I wish I had tried it sooner.
I ordered the stewed beef khao soi and it was 10/10, I mean genuinely amazing. At first I couldn’t tell if it was maybe because I was starving or if it really did taste that good. The aromatics, the broth, the tender beef, the bouncy noodles, the side of pickles mustard greens and lime. I mean this thing was devoured and I had to come back a 2nd time just to confirm that it wasnt me being bias. And it was just as good the 2nd time around. I highly recommend this spot. Its about as flavorful as hat yai and eem but cheaper and with larger portions. Their dishes might not be as experimental or unique as eem or hat yai, but they are just as flavorful.

Met up with some dear friends at Ba Mee while I was in town and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were fortunate enough to walk in on a Saturday night and grab a table. Service was very prompt and friendly. Started with a few appetizers…Chicken Satay (was good but not best I’ve had), Thai Wings (delicious and packed with flavor), and a Soybean sheet rolls (good but preferred other two appetizers). Mains ordered were Beef Pad See Ew (this was so so good!), Chicken Pad Thai (tasty dish but chicken was a bit of a let down compared to everything else) and I had the Ba Mee House Noodle Soup with duck (delicious and packed with noodles and tasty broth and veggies). Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend. Didnt get to take pix of other dishes as we ate the appetizers too quickly!

Food was really good. I had a duck and noodle. I would have liked the duck to be a little more crispy but the flavor was delicious. Atmosphere was pretty good. Servers were nice, they seemed to be attentive. It started to get packed and the service was a bit slower, they kept forgetting my drink. But they were pretty friendly.

Wow I loved Ba Mee! The noodles were absolutely so fresh and chewy. I’m so glad I finally made it in. I want to try everything on the menu and will definitely be back. We had excellent service as well. A great alternative if you don’t want to wait for a seat down the street at eem.

I get my haircut in the area and my barber recommended this spot—really glad he did. The food here is excellent and the portions are generous. After first trying it, I ended up coming back about once a week for a month. The roasted duck is one of my favorite dishes, and everything I’ve had has been consistently good. Highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood and looking for great Thai noodles.

This place is phenomenal! I’ve been back several times. For main courses, we had the N8 Kao Soy Noodle w/ Stewed Beef & the N13 Ba Mee House Noodle BBQ sauce w/ Crispy pork & BBQ Pork. The N8 stole the show, the layers of flavor you will find here are all there with the tenderness beef just melting on your taste buds. Some of the best comfort food in Portland. Kao Soy Noodle are still awesome! Great service. Updated. Have gone back, still amazing. Consistent. Best Kao Soy in the city!

Our first time at Ba Mee and we were not disappointed! The crispy noodle fried shrimp was tasty paired with the sweet chili sauce. The Tom Yum noodle soup was not only delicious but also had great presentation. The hand pulled garlic noodles had a variety of meats and was also very delicious. Service was amazing, and our server had a great sense of humor. We dined outside in the 70-degree weather. Street parking only. We would definitely come back to eat again!

I’m a true lover of Asian food, and this Thai spot completely blew me away! Super authentic flavors and absolutely delicious. We each ordered a soup—mine was a chicken curry, and my friend had a different one (not sure what it was!), but both were incredible. The homemade noodles took everything to the next level. Warm, flavorful, and clearly made with care. This place exceeded all expectations—don’t miss out on this gem!
