Went here for the first time last night and this might be my new favorite place to get Vietnamese food in Metairie. We started with the Pork Dumplings and Pork Gyoza, then ordered a Ba Chi Baco and Curry Tofu Baco to split. They were all great, but I could’ve ordered another order of the Gyoza just for me. Then we got the Spicy Lemongrass wings, Curry Beef Stew with Roti bread and Sweet Chili Fried Shrimp Vermicelli for our entrees. Everything was delicious. It would’ve been easier to eat if the tails were taken off the shrimp, but still tasty. The service was great too. Can’t wait to try more next time.

12/27/2025: (5.0 stars) First time here and I wanted to try some of their bacos. The waitress said the spicy brisket baco was the fan favorite. I also got the bbq pork and char pork bacos. All were phenomenal! And affordable. I will definitely be back.

Never had a bad experience here. Their pho, delish. Their ramen, delish. Their bacos, delish. Their service is great! Such a cute little place in Metairie to enjoy a causal meal. They also have incredible deals!!! They had buy one get one margs on Fridays and Mondays, idk if they have this now but worth checking out.

Ba Chi Kitchen + Bar in Metairie is a gem! We had the oxtail stew, spicy lemongrass wings, baos, and the sake flight—everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every dish.
The drinks were well made, and the sake flight was a fun touch. Great vibe all around.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
Definitely one of my new favorite spots in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Need to level up your foodie life? Y’all need to head over to Metry and discover the most creative, delicious Viet fusion dishes at Ba Chi Kitchen! The restaurant sets off cute date or special event night vibes with its trendy, inviting atmosphere. I love how the bar and main dining area are separated- you can either dine at the tables or go next door to hang out for drinks.
We stopped by for a late lunch and were greeted warmly by our sweet waitress Mikayla. She was very helpful and patient with any questions we had with items on the menu. Service was stellar A+++ !!!
Now onto the incredible FOOD:
Bo Ne – filet mignon steak cubes & eggs (10/10): When an entree comes out sizzling & the aroma wakes you up- you know it has to be AMAZINGLY FLAVORFUL & FANTASTIC! Spread the butter & pate on the toasted bread, then use it to soak up all the INCREDIBLE flavor explosion from the sizzling steak & eggs!!! *VOILA chef’s kiss* (side note: I grew up in Houston & had Bo Ne fairly regularly & I honestly think Ba Chi elevates this dish to another realm!!!)
Curry clams & fries (10/10): I was worried I wouldn’t like it because I wanted mussels, which were unavailable. To my surprise, this dish was another great hit !!! The yellow curry flavors were unique – a bit of heat & spice but not overwhelming. Next time, I would ask for the fries to be served on the side so that they stay crispy! We really wanted to slurp down a gallon of the curry- it really was THAT good! Pro tip: get a side of vermicelli noodles (or rice), mix it with the leftover curry & proceed to gobble it all up if you have room left in your tummy!
Spicy lemongrass chicken wings (8/10): These were good-sized wings that packed a little punch with the spice! We enjoyed the spicy lemongrass flavor of the crispy wings (be aware that not everyone has a palate for lemongrass- they have other flavors available for those less adventurous eaters).
DRINK:
Dragon Slayer: what a gorgeous & beautiful drink – the dragon fruit margarita was a specialty cocktail I’ve never had before and I LOVED IT !!! (10/10)
Their espresso martini with ube foam is another popular cocktail & I look forward to trying it on my next visit!
TL; DR: If you’re wanting to FIRE UP and add some PIZAZZ & all that jazz to your fabulous foodie life, then make lunch/dinner/drink plans for Ba Chi! You’ll have the best dining experience there with quality food and top notch service! We LOVEDDD & enjoyed our dining experience today!

Good spot to get Viet and Asian fusion food here. I got the baos which I’ve never seen a big menu of baos before! My favorite was the fish with miso sauce. The food was good, I got the fries and it was huge and flavorful, it was interested to take a bite and the kimchi was cold with the hot fries and sauce. I wish there was more beef, quality of it was okay. Overall I’d come back!

One of the best local Vietnamese fusion restaurants in the New Orleans area. The flavors and food selection is always 10/10 delicious for all types of folks. Highly recommend the bacos, gyoza nacho, and kimchi fries for a fun dinner or lunch with friends. But, their classic Vietnamese dishes such as Pho combo and even their spicy lemongrass tofu is DIVINE. Textures are always crispy on their fried foods and all sauces are original creations so there’s intention behind each flavor combination. My go to drink is their jasmine tea limeade, squeezed fresh and brewed daily.

This place is awesome and has a great happy hour! The Bacos are great and the bulgogi fries were also so amazing. The lychee mojito was fantastic as well. Huge menu, but nothing was subpar, so I’m excited to try more. We had a really sweet server and the food came out quick. I will be back!!!

Very tasty food, authentic flavors and friendly staff. The food was very reasonably priced and the ramen tasted right, which is hard to find in the south. There was no wait for seating and the music wasn’t overly loud. Overall a pleasant environment and a nice place for a date. I highly recommend them.
