We searched for a long time to find a shop that sells stinky tofu with a taste that is not exactly the same as in Taiwan but quite close.

Stinky tofu here is prepared in many different ways, such as deep-fried, cooked with sauce, or cooked as hot pot. Other Chinese dishes are also quite delicious such as dishes made with Sichuan peppers such as chicken, lamb, pork or beef fried crispy with Sichuan peppers, fried stinky tofu with Sichuan sauce.

Some of the dishes here I think can be eaten vegetarian, but as a pub, I do not recommend vegetarians to come here. And since it is a pub, I don’t think it is suitable for children.

The imported stouts here are really great. Plus they have a great buy 2 get 1 free deal (3 total). They also have a very interesting Soju Smoothie drink.

The space inside the restaurant is decorated in a rather dark style, sometimes if you are a bit drunk it will be a bit difficult to see the way or pick up food accurately.

I think wheelchair users will be quite inconvenient here, because I don’t see any specific aisles and seating positions for wheelchair users. In addition, the space is quite small so it will be quite inconvenient for those who use wheelchairs.

There are quite a few Asian guests who come here to relieve stress so sometimes you may get into language confusion here.

But the biggest minus point is the service attitude, the staff here have poor English, sometimes we have to use pictures to order the specific dishes we want. And instead of trying to understand each other and be more friendly, they turn away and talk to each other in Mandarin with an unpleasant and discriminatory attitude.

We are from Europe but we are completely familiar with the American tipping culture. When we paid, we paid by card and tipped them in cash, which was around 18% of our bill. But she immediately expressed her displeasure, and wrote down a number that was around 25%. It was absurd that she did not deserve such a confusing and unpleasant service attitude. And the fact that she was so exact about the tip she expected made it even more ridiculous.

This could have been a place we would highly recommend to friends or ourselves to come back to if we were ever in LA because the food here is amazing, but with that attitude of service, everything needs to be considered.

It is also quite difficult to find parking here or the street parking fee is very high for those who travel here by their own vehicle.

It’s already their 15th anniversary. My favorite dishes taste great like always. Love to eat/drink/hang out with my buddies. Recommend for authentic Taiwanese dishes.

Food was good, service could be worked on. Seems staff would rather be on there phones then look around and check customer (it was just me and another table) waited a long time to get the check.

The clams w/vegetables and fry Tu-fu was good, waitress and waiter were provided good service with things I’ve asked for. However, the air conditioner inside was low and it was a warm night. This restaurant open till 1am, it’s a good place to eat out late.

One of my go to places with good priced beer pitchers, amazing food, and great ambiance. The store seems like a family operation and everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Awesome place to hang out for happy hour or late night drinks.

My friend and I wanted to try this spot and were pretty disappointed. The food and drinks were great but I’ve never been served so slow in my life. Totally ignored and there were only about two other tables in the whole place.

Great hole in the wall spot with cold beer, delicious food, and incredible service. Very laid back spot—people were playing games, conversations were randomly being struck, and the deal on pitchers was great.

The are many Taiwanese dishes and bbq skewers and alcoholic beverages. The dishes I’ve ordered are good. The service staffs are friendly and worked fast. Moderate decors with a reasonable amount of seating for about 50 people. The restaurant opens at 5 pm so not too busy. By the later evening it does get busy. I recommend this restaurant and will be going back to try many other dishes on the menu.

This place used to be so good. Sadly it lost some of it’s character with the ownership change. They switched beer to watery bud light (pitchers), and the patrons changed as well. It used to be our go to place and we have great memories. Sadly, the new ownership is much less welcoming.
