This is a small town diner located amongst a few other choice eats in Bethalto, Illinois. B-town is that beautiful Sunday morning after church, Tuesday morning after golf league, Wed afternoon lunch break place that is efficient and yummy to boot!. We have eaten here twice for breakfast and it does not disappoint! Both of us were happy with our savory meals but if you want a sweet waffle or stack of pancakes, you definitely have options. My Gentleman had a meat skillet which was loaded on a base of country friend potatos. I had a meal of eggs, bacon, and biscuit with gravy. The biscuit is fluffy and soaked up the delicious gravy as a side to my perfectly scrambled eggs and bacon. My Gentleman added a side of B & G just to get a bite because I told him I was not sharing this time. My meal was under $10 as they run specials daily, and his was a little over. Do yourself a favor and stop here for a hearty breakfast next time you’re passing through. Support small business in small towns, you won’t regret it.

Have been here several time now and have enjoyed everything from lunch to breakfast. Service is always good and the prices are always reasonable unlike most restaurants now.

My mom asked to try it so I gave her the tiny wing and I ate all my food. We were discussing buying their chicken by the bucket for our family of 8, for dinner and it took forever to get a refill of my Pepsi I had eaten my whole plate and waited to flag someone down for a refill she finally comes over and I ask for more Pepsi and if I could some more of my all you can eat chicken but just dark meat. She says I seen you give your mother the wing so we’re not honoring the all you can eat. So I ask for the price of a normal fried chicken plate and not the all you can eat and just tells me it is the same price either way and gives me one thigh and tells me no more.
So dont let any one try your food and dont expect to get free refills on soda quickly either.

This was our first visit! Will not be back. Service was ok. No complaints on that. Salad Bar do one trip was $7.00 unlimited was $13.00. What a joke. Lettuce, cheese, cucumbers. Bacon and croutons. Price are unreal! Grilled cheese sandwich was $8.00. Husband had sandwich with potatoe salad. Our total bill was $27.00. We will not be back. Food presentation was horrible. Salad bar was dirty.

My gyro sandwich was delicious – the problem was that I got the salad bar as a side for a $2 upcharge which I was fine with. The server never told me that I could only go one time – I did go twice as the first plate I got wasn’t very big. The server told me after the fact that I could only go once so I apologized (and would have filled my plate a little more the 1st time. After I paid the bill and got home I decided to look at the bill and saw the server decided to not only charge me the $2 upcharge for ordering the salad bar as a side – she decided to add an additional $4 charge because I went the 2nd time (without mentioning anything about it) – they need to list the 1 trip on the menu or told me about that when I ordered

Love this Place, Food is Great Owners and staff Very friendly. The food is very good and prices are in the norm. We come from Edwardsville and its worth the drive. We have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
