5 stars if you exclude the terrible and overpriced chicken sandwich I had. B and K is obviously famous for their tasty root beer and cheap but filling food. I love the drive up food scene and having my meal brought to my car. I like the spanish dog and sloppy joe the most.
Now regarding that chicken sandwich, you can go to most any restaurant or fast food place and get a quality, chicken breast chicken sandwich for $4 or less. This restaurant was offering a chicken sandwich for $4 so I was hoping to get something of similar value. Instead I was brought a 50 cent frozen chicken patty that is typically served in Middle School lunch rooms. The price for this sandwich was absolutely insane and I felt like I got ripped off. I wouldn’t pay more than $2 for that sandwich.

I took my son (16) here after work. He used to stop here with his grandma when he was little. This place is like stepping into the past for me. I love the simplicity of the menu. My son thought the burger was outstanding. Awesome experience. Thank you.

We just LOVE this rootbeer stand! The food is wonderful – the hamburgers are not the frozen ones! You can taste the goodness. And of course, the root beer is perfect! WELL DONE! Can’t wait for them to open this year. We are all still waiting!

I absolutely love going there. My favorite is a young little blonde waitress every year. I get so excited for them to open just to see her. She’s the greatest. She’s the most kindest person I’ve ever come across there and because of her and her kindness is the reason why me my family keep going back plus the food is good

I ordered a footlong hotdog and 2 Root beer float, order was awful it was garbage they should close that place down. Asap My wife as been sick and has spent the rest of her evening in the bathroom and in bed be careful when eating at B&K on Wilbeth and Manchester Rd Akron Ohio 6-28-25

Had a hiccup and found a hair, they immediately took it from me and remade it with extra fries and brought me a root beer float for my troubles!
Also the hotdogs are good! I don’t love the chili, has a bit of a sweet taste, almost sloppy Joe like. It isn’t my cup of tea but obviously it is for ALOT of other peoples!
Also (this is most important) the burger is the BEST burger I have had in the state of Ohio, and honestly it is 10x better then Swensons. Hands down puts them to shame.

I worked in fine dining for years and you handled it the same way I would’ve! Can’t wait to see you guys again!
