Had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner. The staff was great. Our waitress Brooke was so nice, made recommendations and answered all our questions. The steaks were delicious, and the brussels sprouts were unbelievably good. We’ve never tasted anything like them. So good! The woodworking around the vintage bar and around the rooms were works of art.
We will definitely be back soon.

My girlfriend and I had an early dinner. She had the Mahi mahi special and I had the cod fish fry. The fish fry came with potato pancakes. That was a pleasant surprise. We each had a cup of soup, her the beer cheese and I had the red clam chowder. For desert we shared the creme brulee. The wait staff was great. The restaurant is located in a building from 1902.

Absolutely would recommend making a stop at B.J. Wentker’s! We came here for our anniversary on Friday for the first time and loved our experience!

Our server Brooke was super nice and efficient. She checked on us multiple times and kept our drinks full! Our drinks and shrimp cocktail came out promptly. My fiancé got the brandy ol fashioned and I got the kir royal and they were delicious. We both got the perch fish fry, it was lightly battered and fried perfectly golden.

At the end we talked a little bit with the new owner/manager. They are doing a fantastic job at keeping this place historic and giving a great dining experience!

I hadn’t been back to this place in almost 30 years. I was surprised that it had been turned into a fine dining restaurant. Unfortunately, I was not hungry and will have to come back to try their fabulous menu. I rated the food a 4 even though I hadn’t tried any yet just by reviewing the menu. Beautifully restored, great selection of beverages, and a great bartender.

Came for valentines dinner. You walk in and the place is majestic. Feels like an old school supper club. We were seated promptly, from a delightful hostess and are waitress was prompt to take are order. She was informative and her recommendations were spot on. The oysters Rockefeller were amazing, and the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. For dessert we had the chocolate creme brulee…. whatever it did to my waistline, I do t care, worth every bite! If your near Burlington and dont stop here, your missing out on an absolute gem!

First time at this restaurant and probably not the last ..food was super well presented and our waitress was just fantastic. New decor is just amazing and would highly recommend popping in for a decent meal. The menu has a great variety with something for every palette.

Had a business dinner here tonight, party of 5. Was excellent service and food. Expectations were so so and they blew it out of the water. Honestly the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. The Ribeye was also excellent. Pricing is extremely reasonable.

Don’t know how I missed this place. Not much advertising I suppose. Great friendly staff. Love the roaring 20s original decor. Food is very good from what I had. French onion soup could use a little more to make it unforgettable. Will be going back for more.

The food was delicious. I had salmon wild rice and vegetables. Seasoned well and expertly cooked. The only downside was dessert the flour less chocolate cake with 4 raspberrys.. $16.00 for a round portion the size of a coffee cup bottom. Good but way overpriced .

This is a beautiful historical building, which has been preserved, and tastefully decorated.
Everything is very clean and well organized.
Now, the food. It was over the top. The menu is not the typical bar food, and the meals each of us ordered were excellent and well presented. The drinks were real drinks, not watered down, and if you want prime rib, shrimp cocktail, clam chowder GO HERE! I could go on, it was all good! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, good people for sure!
If you pass up this place, you’re missing out, it’s worth a drive!
