I have been driving by this place for years and I’ve always wondered how good it was. We today as the day, we gave it a shot. It did not disappoint. This will become a place we stop in for a snack as we roll through. Definitely worth your time

Really glad we stopped. Delicious Brisket and ribs. Mac and cheese also.
Their Corn bread pudding! Amazing!

Friendly, fun, delicious, beyond compare and with large portions. We had brisket nachos, burnt-end beans, cornbread pudding and pulled pork sandwiches. It was all 5 star. A must stop spot in the UP. We highly recommend.

So. Gross.
I got the pulled pork sandwich and the meat was incredibly dry. I made the mistake of getting cheese and toppings on it as well. Cheese wasn’t even melted- just a hard, cold slice of cheese. The bun was like a dollar store bun. BBQ sauce was gross too and had a weird chemically taste. As another reviewer said- the Mac and cheese was mushy and bland. Honestly, it makes me wonder how they’ve gotten more than one star. I threw it away after like two bites and feel sad I wasted money here. They charge as much as a legit BBQ spot, but they are amateurs, clearly. You can make better grocery store BBQ sandwiches than this place. Save your money!

Passed this a million times during my travels. Finally stopped today and tried the pulled pork sandwich and mac n cheese.

Pulled pork was pretty decent.

Mac n cheese was kinda mushy and bland.

Must’ve been off day..
The girl behind the counter seemed to have a little attitude as soon as I greeted her. Then when I got my food- I said “thank you”… she threw it on the counter, slammed the screen window and said nothing as I grabbed my bag. Okay, gotcha.

I’ll definitely stop and try some other things another time. Most of these reviews aren’t like this. Like I said, maybe an off day.

We had the Brisket Poutine and the #1 Sampler Meal and it was all fantastic! The service was super friendly and quick and we’ll definitely make this a regular stop on our way through.

I got the Ribs they had no flavor dry and hair in it, tasted like the folded just been sitting out for day drying. Burger bun where watered down, bbq coleslaw they just added the sauce in it and it still had no flavor. If you tried to taste seasoning like licking the skin you would taste nothing. All together a waste of money.

Got a pound of smoked pulled pork and two sides. Smoked Mac and cheese and coleslaw.
The pulled pork was delicious! The Mac and cheese was very good and homemade. For food truck pricing I feel it was very reasonably priced.

I just tried this for the first time. Had the beef brisket with the cole slaw and burnt end baked beans. The sandwich had great smoke, tasty, nice brioche bun. But the burnt ends baked beans was the start!! Best beans I’ve ever had!! I will be back, and tell everyone I know!

Found this little roadside bbq stand driving from Crystal Falls to Presque Isle Park. Located at entrance to Lake Michigamme Camp Grounds. We are from Chicago and have been lucky to eat some good bbq and this was equally as delicious. Brisket was tender & flavorful (we didn’t find it soggy). The sides were amazing as well. Agreed that the burnt end beans are a highlight but do yourself a favor and also get the corn bread pudding. Cheesy grits & mac m cheese were okay but could have used a bit more salt . Pulled pork was also good. Worth the excursion if you are in the area.
