We were in Ocala for a swim competition and was recommended by a good friend to try this spot! Definitely recommend. Such a unique spot. Had the havarti grill cheese with pasta salad. AMAZING. Our server Beth was so sweet to us and gave good recommendations.

I had a great experience here! The staff were extra kind to me and my meal was excellent. It has a such a cozy yet eclectic vibe. The whole experience was like good medicine. I had a cappuccino, the soup of the day and quiche of the day! All excellent.

Every time I’ve been to BD Beans, it’s been a wonderful experience. The staff has always been kind and attentive. The food is amazing every time, and the staff is great at recommending what’s the current flavor of coffees to try and will ask how we like everything each time. I have made this one of my locations to go to every time.I could rave on and on for hours about this cafe. Its atmosphere is absolutely amazing, you can’t beat the prices, and everything feels so right. You have got to try this place if you haven’t before; it’s worth every moment of your time.

This place is a rare gem. I have been coming here for 10+ years, food is always fresh and on point: Every. Single. Time! Usually get quiche of the day with the soup of the day for lunch. All of their coffees are delicious. The mint raspberry tea is also a favorite. Food always comes out quickly, great service, they always take care of you. Eat here and leave happy! Love the jasmine archway in the back patio!

I love BD Beans. Have been going there for 15 years. Given many perfect reviews. Especially on service. I miss the old wait staff who were so sharp & friendly. The new server forgot to unlock the door last time I went so people left thinking they were closed. After knocking on the door & then calling she finally opened the door. She said she forgot 2 other times that week. Then I odered my usual Ameretto Cappuccino that I come out of my way to get here. She kept frothing the milk to be all foam over & over until I noticed how long she was taking to do this. I said it was a Cappuccino I ordered & why was she scraping just froth over & over. She said that’s the way a Cappuccino was here. I tried to reason with her so she finally said she would do it “my way” but that’s not how they make them here. My coffee was still almost all foam & not much steamed milk. She just kept arguing with me & I’ve been getting Cappuccinos here for 15 years & it was never like this & certainly no argument & so hard to get into the restaurant. I still love BD Beans. Didn’t go for about 2 months. Went today & ordered my Ameretto Cappuccino & told her it’s suppose to be espresso, steamed milk , & froth on top. She argued again & refused to look at the online definition of Cappuccino. She said she will continue making it with all froth because that’s the way she was trained:( She refused to open her mind & learn so other customers won’t be disappointed like I am.

This place is a great breakfast place! Specialty coffee that changes regularly, and the ability to bulk buy it either whole bean or ground fresh right onsite make this a nice cozy spot. Very eclectic atmosphere makes it an interesting place to have a nice quite meal. Food is great and very fresh! Best Quiche on the planet! Service has that home town feel that accents the ambiance and good food perfectly! Do yourself a favor and check it out.
