My wife and I recently relocated to OR and B-Bops was a place we both knew we’d miss dearly. We had time for just one more delicious burg on our way outta town and I gotta say, I almost cried. The smile on the woman as she handed us our loot thru the window suggested she knew. But of course she did. They’re all bangers. Every last burger. We dug in. The quarter pound with cheese for her. The half pound for me. Good grief we’re gonna miss those rays of sunshine. Until we meet again.

We love Bbop but we won’t go to this location again. We placed our order and then she repeated but she repeated back wrong. We asked if she got the burger with ketchup pickle and onion. She said nothing. Even though the mic is open and we are like I’m sorry hello. Hello.. finally she got the biggest attitude and yells that’s what I said! We are like ok. We just drive off who ordering from folks that feel it’s ok to talk crazy to people when we number one clarifying the order number two no you didn’t say that or we wouldn’t have asked and numbered third it’s your job to talk to customer without acting crazy. Yeah you can’t keep the attitude and we took our business to Ames. We got off the plane thought we’d get Bbops. We had it in Ames they are nice clean and know how to talk to folks. This was Friday 10/6/25 at 3 pm at the drive thru. As business owners I am sure this helpful.

I like the single cheeseburger and fries. Taste great. Favorite fast food place. When the weather gets colder you can’t go wrong with the chili. You can get a quart of chili for $5. Best price for fast food around.

There bbq hamburger slider was similar to Maidrite hamburgers,which I do enjoy,although get 2,they are small.fries were ok,nothing to rave about.service spot on,quick and friendly.

So I’ve been traveling and seeing these in a few states. Yesterday was the day to try it, and I wish I hadn’t. I got a sloppy joe combo and bacon cheeseburger. The sloppy joe was just enough for a slider but they put it on a regular bun. Fries were cold and burger wasn’t cooked right. We waited 20 minutes and I still had to go somewhere else because I was hungry. Wasted my whole lunch hour, I’m telling everyone not to go here, I want my money back. I paid for nothing basically.

I moved to California in 2014 and every time I come back to Ames I ALWAYS make at least one stop to B-Bop’s. My favorite burgers to this day and always so affordable and quick!
