I paid almost $20 for 6 meatballs….yes, 6 meatballs! I was out running errands and thought I’d swing by and pick up some meatballs, for a quick lunch, to go with a salad I already had at home. I certainly don’t mind paying a higher price for something, as long as that something is yummy, and worth it, which these were not. The meatballs were tiny, firm/hard, dry and worst of all, tasteless. We ordered from this place years ago, and weren’t pleased, but thought we’d give them another chance, since we always try to support our local small businesses. Needless to say, we will not be ordering anything from here, ever again.

Who knew there could be so many ways to spice up a meatball sub! When I first moved to the area, a local recommended this place. I was intrigued by all the interesting options on the menu and had to try. Although I want to try everything, I love my usual order so much that I haven’t been able to stray. My go to is the Buckwild Balls Sandwich, which I highly recommend. Sometimes the bread is a little burnt, but otherwise cooked to perfection. I will continue going back and maybe one day I’ll feel adventurous enough to stray from my usual!

This place was great! There are so many amazing options it was hard to choose. We started with fried pickles, then we shared the meatball Parm on a “garlic bread” hero and a cheese steak. The meatballs were perfect and, even though cheese steak isn’t their specialty, it was delicious as well. Even though we couldn’t finish everything, we had to try the Italian ices that Lance, the owner, makes himself. He was very personable and made our experience eating there even better. We’ll definitely be back and try some other varieties of the awesomely named sandwiches!

Great place food delicious old time feel like a mom and pop store where kids can come in and get a snack or order something to eat .The owners are friendly and seems to know the neighborhood kids by name. Inexpensive and a great place to meet friends for lunch and the food you order is made fresh on the spot.

So amazing! The meatball subs are so delicious and the service is beyond great. I got the ‘whole package’ meatball sub and was blown away with the flavor and how every bite was the perfect amount of each ingredient.
The owner is a true delight! She was fast and friendly. She over heard my talking about how I wanted disco fries but only a few, so I wasn’t going to order a whole side as it would be wasted. To my surprise she prepared me a small portion of disco fries and brought it to where I was eating.
Get the lemon Italian ice!!!
This is my new go to spot when in the area.

Google Maps describes this location as a “Pizza Restaurant”, they’re hiding the lead. This is a Meatball Sub Paradise where the balls have been seamlessly applied to bountiful buns and well sauced.

We ordered 3 different Meatball sandwiches. Here are their names, their descriptions from B-Balls website, and what we thought.
#16. Balls To The Wall Sandwich:
Meatball sandwich with our own sauce add cheese to make it cheesy then add hot & sweet sausage, cheese, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives, layered with mozzarella cheese topped with bacon, pepperoni & ham.
My husband ordered this on the garlic hero bread, and it’s not to be missed. Don’t be swayed by the “Sweaty balls” or “The Whole Package”; trust us, you Need to have “Balls to the Walls” to be really fulfilled.

#21 Stick Balls:
Meatballs layered on a skewer with bread & mozzarella rolled in bread crumbs and fried.
The balance of bread:cheese:ball ratio was perfect. The sauce added just enough moistness to the stick to help it go down easy. Highly recommend this, you won’t be disappointed by the experience!

#18: Buck Wild Balls:
Meatballs layered with chili, bacon, and cheddar cheese topped with steak fries.
We ordered this with the bread bowl* on the side. The chili was spicier than my tongue was prepared for, but it was the good kind of burn. The straps of bacon and steak fries helped soothe the sting, but if you can’t handle the heat… well, you know.

Large Greek Salad:
Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives, and feta cheese.
The Salad came with house dressing lightly coating the whole tossed salad. It was a nice light bite to eat with the heavy balls.

*I ate my salad in the Bread bowl and it was delicious. (The bread bowl has sesame seeds encrusted into it.)

The price for every Sub is $12.99, excellent value for a tasty time!

Grab your napkins these balls can get messy!

Ps: they have no customer restrooms on site, but they do seem to be more takeout than eat in, so most customers wouldn’t be affected.
Pps: they support their Veterans, both with a collection location for a veteran organization, as well as they gave us a military discount on our whole meal.

The subs here are A+. The amount of choices are overwhelming to say the least but it’s great because there is a choice for any mood you’re in. The girl at the counter was so sweet and easy to talk to while we waited for our food. We can’t wait to come back.

Well where can I start? We had just seen Paul McCartney the night before and were looking for a great place for lunch and thanks to Local Guides we found it.
Meatballs, Meatballs! So many choices of sandwiches with totally unique recipes but that’s not all. They offer pizza, salad and more. I went with a Meatball pizza and a salad. I will never forget how good it tasted.
The owners were the best and talked to me at length.
I will drive from Connecticut just to eat there.

We aren’t in this area often and were eager to find a place w tasty food & fair prices. We’ve been craving meatballs so what a nice find when this resto came up in my search. When we arrived we were given a warm greeting & ordered a couple of sandwiches. I rec the #9. The bread was great and the meatballs delicious.
The prices as very good for a quality meal. It came out fast which suited our needs and we ate in the small and clean dining area.
Wound up chatting w a guy (Lenny?) & discovered he was the owner along w his wife at the counter.
I highly recommend this place because the food is exactly what you want a meatball sub to be, at the right price, served by owners who genuinely care.
Hopefully my review inspires others to support this local joint so I can stop in again the next time I’m passing thru town.

I wanted to support as a local, but meatballs were very hard and had no flavor; And waaay too expensive. $3 per medium sized meatball… disappointing.
