We’ve been driving past this place for 6 years threatening to go in. I finally did and was not disappointed. Had a basic cheeseburger with fries and it was just perfect, iced tea so sweet it makes your teeth hurt.
Definitely not winning any interior decoration awards but very serviceable.

Best Hamburg anywhere around.. the Star Mountian Burger is absolutely amazing!!! All the staff is amazing and kind. The food is always cooked perfectly and quickly. This is a must try if you want a mind blowing burger .. add egg and bacon

Waitress left us sitting there and would not wait on us. Continue to wait on other people even people that had gotten there after us. Confused on the experience, even though we were extremely excited to try the pancakes. Made us feel like it was because we were not locals that we had this experience.

A previous review was spot on when she said not to judge this place by the outside appearance. Although the inside isn’t going to win any awards either, I’ll tell you what will. The food is second to none, as is the service! The nicest people you’ll ever meet work here and the patrons were all just as friendly. We had the pecan pancakes and be warned that one is all you need. It’s the size of the entire plate and thicker than any pancake you ever had. I guarantee it! The home fried potatoes were great as well! Lastly, you won’t find better prices anywhere and I’ll also guarantee that! In short, don’t pass this place up!

Bacon & sausage cooked well. Biscuits decent. Scrambled eggs & coffee OK. Gravy absolutely flavorless. Water gross.
Service friendly & polite but slow and had to ask twice for something.
Absolutely disgustingly filthy inside.
Dirt & gravel parking area mostly huge muddy water filled potholes.
My wife started having some kind of mild allergic reaction as we were on the way home and now that we are home, she is saying her stomach is upset from the food.
Pretty cheap, but a reminder that you get what you pay for. We definitely will NOT be back.

Had to drive a bit out of our way, but based on reviews, we took a leap of faith. So glad we did! The pancake was cooked perfectly and the portion was more than I could finish. Most of the time when we order piggy back eggs, the servers rarely comply, but the plate came out exactly as ordered.The staff is super friendly and the food was not only delicious, it was piping hot. Highly recommend if you don’t need fancy.

You know it’s the right place when you pull up at 10am on a Monday and there is cars in the parking lot. This is the place locals come and trust for grub so if you’re in town, don’t miss this stop. Food is cooked to order, gravy is fresh and hot, and everything is homemade.

Exactly what we were looking for on our road trip. Had eggs, sausage, biscuits, crispy hash browns and a delicious blueberry pancake that was the size of our plate! You won’t regret it.
