Let’s start with the food. The King’s Meatloaf was hands-down the best meatloaf I’ve ever had. Rich, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection—you can immediately understand why they call it King’s Meatloaf. One bite and it lives up to the name.
The salad was unbelievably fresh. It honestly tasted like the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were picked straight from the farm that morning—crisp, clean, and full of flavor.
And the cheese fries phenomenal. When you order cheese fries here, you actually get cheese fries. A generous amount of cheese melted all over the fries—no skimping, no shortcuts, just pure comfort food done right.
Now for a special shout-out to Heaven, hands down the best waitress in Memphis.
If you ever find yourself in Memphis, make sure to stop at this awesome place.
The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy all the way through, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone with that rich, smoky flavor you can only get from people who really know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The portion was generous, the sides were spot-on, and the service matched the quality of the food—warm, upbeat, and fast.
If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and grab this plate. B.B. King’s nails the kind of soulful, satisfying BBQ that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing night at BB King’s Blues Club in Memphis. The place was really rocking that night !! After wandering around Beale Street and stopping in quite a few places to listen to music and have a drink or two, I finally made it to my destination. The hostess, once I paid my cover charge, brought me right to the front of the stage, where I sat, met a few people, had a few more drinks and dinner. I started with a cup of succulent gumbo, and even though it was just a cup, it certainly hit the spot. For my main course, as you can imagine, I ordered a half-rack of delicious ribs. The ribs were fantastic, and the vibe and the music and all the people I met just added to the experience. There are quite a few great Blues venues on Beale Street, but BB King’s is an iconic spot for food and music.
The service was really good but it was the start of lunch and I think there was only two other tables sat.
We ordered the fried okra as an appetite share but very disappointed in the portion size for almost $12. We each for about five pieces. Only enough for one person.
I got the chicken and ribs platter. The chicken was really good but slightly dry in the middle. The ribs were good as well.
Honestly just about an average score but not as good as we hoped for in Memphis.
