The flavors that Sunny creates are outside the realm of what a typical sushi restaurant does. He is extremely talented. We’ve been patrons of his place for over 11 years. Have been exceptionally satisfied each and every time. The typical rolls that all sushi places offer taste better when he makes them like the Rainbow Roll. And the Hamachi Hammer Roll absolutely blew our minds.

This Japanese restaurant truly blew me away! Every dish—from the sushi boat to the spicy edamame and cucumber rolls—was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and literally melted in my mouth. The sushi rolls came in a wide variety, each packed with flavor and texture. Even the simple edamame was stir-fried to perfection—so aromatic and appetizing!
The drinks were also outstanding. The cocktails were light and refreshing, while the sake had a smooth and lasting finish. The ambiance was quiet and relaxing, and the service was warm and attentive. I also loved seeing the wall full of customer photos and kind messages—it’s clear that the staff truly connect with their guests and create a welcoming, heartfelt space.
With delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy environment, this is the perfect spot to enjoy with family or friends. A solid five-star recommendation!

I LOVE this place! Nicest owner. First class service. The food is absolutely delicious. Sometimes it takes some time because they fresh prepare everything fresh, so don’t come here in a hurry. The owner is a gourmet chef. I just let him decide what I eat.

I’ve been to many different sushi restaurants and I have to say this is the best place I have been. The food had so much more flavor compared to many other sushi places around here. The serves was very good and the people were very kind as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi enjoyer.

The food here is excellent and the owner is a very talented and skillful chef. I will be coming back many more times to come. The nigiri is phenomenal. The tuna tower is the best I’ve had. And the yellowtail jalapeño is a must try.

It really pains me to honestly review Azure. I guess the owners name is Sunny. Only because other reviewers say so. He didn’t introduce himself and spoke very little English. He is definitely a hard worker and puts out a good product. Other than the volcano roll, which was a mess in a bowl. The main problem is with the service. He has no help. And in a town with so many college kids, it must be his choice to work alone. There is someone else in the kitchen I think. When we arrived it was my wife and I and another 4 top. By the time we were done, it was us and the 4 top, 2 other 2 tops, a 3 top and another 4 top. A pretty good crowd. As he prepares the sushi himself, it took forever to receive our food. The other tables that came in after us waited forever for water, then their food. What bothered me as well, is that a small Hispanic guy walked in with 2 friends. Talked to Sunny and he directed him to serve the tables water. So without washing his hands, he served ice water to the other tables. He then grabbed 3 beers for him and his friends. They were also served before the other people that were already seated and waiting for a bit. We eventually had to walk up to the sushi bar to ask for our check because we were tired of waiting for the final roll we ordered over an hour and a half ago. The rolls we had were good, but the service is desperately lacking and unfortunately his restaurant may not survive with this current business model. I’ll try again next season when we’re in town. Hopefully he will have some employees that can serve patrons properly and expeditiously.

Chef was attentive and took my considerations seriously. I gave him free reigns and didn’t get anything extremely exploratory which is understandable, but was given a nice selection of what he thought was their best. All it all, I think the tuna was covered up with too much of a vinegary sauce, however it was a deliberate choice by the chef and that’s on me, and I really liked the Hamachi and the custom roll that was made for me so I definitely give a 5 star rating and will be back. I like this place and will try to introduce others.

If you appreciate traditional sushi, this place is a must go for you. And it’s extremely rare to find an actual Japanese sushi chef ANYWHERE making the sushi for you – this place has it. So surprising to find him in this town. And he’s a delightful man with decades of experience. I can not say much about their rolls, because, well, I don’t eat them. But they sure know how to pick a fish and cut it for your joyous pleasure. I can sweat by it, after going here for many years. Never a let down.

Delicious food delivered to the table with beauty and pride. Well done Sonny. Thank you. From the simply edamame (which in fact is not a simple, but infused with 10 different spices and is absolutely delicious) to the boat of sushi and daikon delivered as the final entrée. Azure Fusion Bistro & Saké is delicious, served with pride, and leaves you wanting more! Warm saké. Cold saké. Red wine, white wine, or water the choice is yours. The menu is large- and Sonny does all prep and delivery. Enjoy! Meshiagare.
