Definitely five star place! I forgot to take the pictures before I cut the pork chop. I chose well done for the temperature, the pork was still so juicy and tender! And 5+ stars for the service, they show the respect to the customers. I’ll go back more times with my friends

Just returned to Kentucky after a long delay and flight. We were looking forward to trying Azure as part of restaurant week in Lexington. We were gone for most of this event so we carefully looked at all the menus and finally wanted to try Azure. We wanted a early meal since we were tired from traveling. Checked to make sure they were open at 4pm for dinner online. We got there exactly at 4pm. The 2 women at the host station were more interested in chit chatting then greeting us. We were then seated at a small table with very uncomfortable chairs. Given the restaurant week menus as well as the full menus. We sat for a bit then someone came over and said they were not serving entrees just appetizers and drinks. We were told that we could order those or wait until 5. I replied or we could just go somewhere else. This was met with a rude response. So we took our business next door to Zen Sushi and they were pleased to feed us anything from their menu. $100 well spent on great food and great service at Zen.

While visiting Lexington I dined at Azur because it was near my hotel. The food was great. I had the special of the night, a braised and barbecued brisket—the best brisket and some of the best beef, in general, that I’ve ever tasted! It was served with a delicious bourbon barbecue sauce. The sweet potato side was luscious. The whole staff was friendly and my server was very attentive and efficient. It was a Friday night and the musical performer on the patio was very good. A most enjoyable evening. Thanks, Azur staff.

Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere, and lovely staff! We consider ourselves foodies but appreciate a casual atmosphere where we don’t have to get dressed up and can enjoy an evening with our kiddo. Azur offers exactly that! From apps and cocktails to entrees and kids’ meals to dessert, the food carefully curated and welled executed. We are from out of state and will share Azur with anyone interested in visiting Lexington! The phylo shrimp dish was wonderful, perfectly balanced, and filling! We loved the live music as well!

I made a reservation online to meet with my daughter in Lexington for her birthday. I live in southern east Kentucky and she is in Cincinnati, a perfect place half way through to meet.

First time having brunch at Azur. We sat on the patio and it was a nice morning for it. I ordered the Bourbon fried chicken French toast. It was a great blend of sweet and savory. My husband got more of a traditional breakfast of bacon, eggs and biscuit. His food was good but I kept thinking it was a bit on the pricey side for it to be a breakfast dish that you could get anywhere that serves breakfast. (Perhaps that’s just his fault for not trying something a little more unique to this restaurant.) The service was good and overall, we enjoyed our experience enough that I would definitely go back to try dinner sometime.
