We love it here. Food is amazing and the staff very friendly. Didn’t have to wait long for our food after ordering. Had the nachos supreme to start and they were loaded with shredded chicken. I got the birra tacos and the beef was tender and flavorful. My date had the enchiladas which I got to taste and they were also delicious

I’ve been getting takeout here at the end of my work week for months. I’ve been obsessed with their birria tacos and my partner usually gets a custom chicken burrito. Both are always hits! My orders are always timely and well packaged, and the employees have always been very kind. My favorite Mexican food in Maine by far!

Love this place! It’s a very relaxed vibe in that you go up and order at the counter, where they are servicing take out orders too. But that’s no problem. Great spot for a quick bite and the food is a really good price, very delicious and generous portions. The decor is also super fun with bright colours everywhere, particularly love the chairs. The only slight critique would be that you order food from one counter and then you have to go separately to order drinks from the bar, which is lined with chairs and people eating at it, so tricky to access. It would be good if you could figure out a system to order both at the same counter.

Food came out luke warm. Service was relatively quick but we sat here for 20 mins with empty waters and had to ask for more. The elote is horrible. Came out with tajin on it instead of chili powder. This is not good mexican food. Maybe growing up in arizona has spoiled me.

I have ordered the same thing, with the same substitutions from Azul for almost 2 years! I just called to place my pick up order and was told they no longer do any substitutions… ex: I wanted to sub my chicken enchiladas for pork & I asked if I could get one single extra enchilada and was told no to both(mind you I fully expected to pay for my substitions/add ons, like always) I’ve never had an issue with them until lately, and with this nonsense I’m done ordering from them! How can a restaurant not do substitutions smh I’ll be ordering from A La Mexicana on Mexican night from now on!

I do recommend the Bowl Salad….add as many as you want in it….fresh, tasty and the portions are just amazing!!!!
