Azul is the sister restaurant to Indigo Kitchen, and after eating at Indigo last night and Azul tonight, I can say they share a similar vibe while still offering very different and unique menu options.
The value here is outstanding. Large portions at a very reasonable price. Last night I had the carne asada at Indigo and it was fantastic. Tonight I wanted something different, so I went with the salmon burrito at Azul. I honestly did not know what to expect from a salmon burrito, but it completely worked. Think of it like a salmon bowl wrapped up. Coconut rice, cheese, roasted corn salsa, and a full piece of salmon inside. It was excellent.
Our server recommended it and suggested the seafood sauce instead of the habanero sauce, which was the right call. I finished the entire thing. We also grabbed a couple beers during happy hour.
Service was great. Super polite, professional, and helpful with menu recommendations. Overall, an A+ experience. This is definitely a local gem, and I would bet it gets very busy on the weekends.

We had a great experience, really good food one of the hidden gems in Mill creek area for Mexican food. All the food served were fresh and the nachos salsa which is complimentary is so fresh and good. I always prefer Tex mex cuisine somewhere in Seattle area but the cuisine is almost good as one we find in Texas! Definitely recommend this place if you want to try some good Mexican food in bothell mill creek area

First time here. This is a real popular and liked place. We are Hispanics and Mexican food is what we do a lot at home too. Overall, good food. We had carne asada, I had the brunch with eggs. Portion is lunch so small. Loved the potatoes. The black beand were ok. My wife had the lunch plate with green beans. Tortillas were lukewarm. Daughter had carnitas. She liked it, black beans were not favorite. Overall, good place, good service and reasonable prices.

The salsa had amazing flavor. Right away I couldnt stop myself. The corn avocado dip i will definitely order again. I had the carne asada and asked for a side cheese enchilada but the waitress didn’t understand and I got a bowl of cheese. Otherwise it was a 5 stat experience. Will try again.

Amazing Brunch!
We went to Azul’s for brunch with friends for the first time after hearing so many great things, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and we even left with extra salsa & chips to take home. Can’t wait to go back!

This is our go-to spot to unwind on Fridays. we love their happy hour! The salsa is one of the best I’ve ever had, fresh and full of flavor. We tried the avocado dip, which was good quality but could’ve used a touch more salt and Serrano heat. The habanero prawns with coconut rice were absolutely delicious and a standout dish. The chicken tacos were decent, though a bit bland for our taste. If you’re planning to visit on a weekend evening, be sure to join the waitlist in advance, it gets busy!

“Let’s meet at Mill Creek Town Center,” suggested the woman who had matched with me on a dating site. I checked with Google and found Azul Restaurant as a specific location to meet at. When the appointed day came, I preened and primped into my most presentable self before hopping in the car and heading north.
The town center was a pleasant looking area with shops and restaurants doing business. There were plenty of diagonal parking spots off the road. I took one, checked myself in the mirror and headed for the restaurant. It was a cold day, so I hurried inside where everything was clean and new. The host stand was unattended, because the host had just seated my date. I heard someone say, “There he is.” I was glad to find that the comment came from a pretty woman and she meant me. I went over to the four top and picked a seat kitty corner from her.
We fell to talking about the things people talk about on a first date until we were interrupted by our waiter who was eager to get us something to drink.Guava juice for her and ice tea for me and we would need some time to look over the menu. I wanted to practice my Spanish, but the waiter’s all American accent kept me in English mode.
The one page menu had a number of familiar dishes and some unique twists such as the creamy seafood enchilada that my date ordered. I was in a taco mood and the tacos al pastor sounded like just the thing. We ate chips with a nice (not too spicy) salsa and discussed family and travel experiences.
The food looked good when it arrived. I should have considered that tacos are a bit messy for a first date. The silverware came wrapped in a large cloth napkin that got plenty of use. We enjoyed our meals while we shared anecdotes about our formative years. The waiter stopped by to make sure our drinks were full and that we were enjoying the food. I’d love to give a better review of the food, but I was distracted by the excellent company.

I love Azul and always look forward to our visit. I get the same thing every time because we only get to visit once annually. The shrimp tacos are amazing! The chips and salsa are perfect, with a bit of a kick.

Azul in Mill Creek never disappoints! The food is consistently on-point , with what is definitely the best salsa around (you can buy it to go, I believe). Love this place. Always has great service and great food. Chill vibe and always busy (in a good way). Chicken tacos are so flavorful and not dry in the slightest. Drinks are always delicious as well. No matter what time of day it’s a good place to eat.
