We sat at the bar after having dinner near by. We have had dinner before and it is very good but we needed to try a different restaurants. We definitely return to get after dinner drink and our Bart maid, Julia was excellent, recommending great drink. Very pleasant and profesional.

I absolutely loved this restaurant and want to definitely return!! The food is amazingly delicious! They know how to season their cactus which made me love this place! Their salsas are out of this world, too! That right there will keep me returning to them! I rate my Mexican and Asian restaurants high when they know how to make good salsas to rock the food!! Their prices are fair, and they don’t take advantage of people like other places that people won’t return to because of prices. There are lower price choices for those who can’t spend too much on food, too. The food is delicious; trust me! Environment is great! I also tried their Chicken tortilla soup, but I forgot to take a picture. The environment is super! You can sit and chat outside the patio, and that’s the best choice to eat at in my opinion unless it’s a very cold day or hot day. I’m definitely returning to try everything else. Our server was amazing! I wish I got his name, but he was always assuring we were taken care of!

The place was beautiful, great location as well. I ordered three carnitas tacos and three chorizo tacos. Both were amazing. They were served with some avocado sauce? I asked for hot sauce and it was amazing too. The chip and salsa were delicious as well

My Sons and I enjoyed our lunch at Azul. The food and service were great! This was my Sons first time eating their food and my 1st dining in. It was fun! The atmosphere was relazws and kids friendly. There were 3 other families dining with kids during our visit. The price and quality of the food were awesome. My Sons even Thank me for taking them to Azul.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but Azul Mexicano did not disappoint! We loved our dinner here. The margaritas were delicious. Tasted like real, fresh fruit in them! My favorite was the strawberry margarita. The portion of fajitas was huge. Enough to feed two! It was delicious and filling. I would have liked if they came with a few more tortillas because of how big the portion was, but that’s okay! The service was great and very attentive. Free chips and salsa as well— the sign of a great Mexican restaurant!

We walked in at about 5pm on a Thursday and there was only one other table seated. Service was quick and professional. I love that they have a dedicated vegetarian menu with several vegan options. Complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch that many restaurants are charging for nowadays. We also got a side of guac which tasted fresh. I ordered the veggie soup with rice which was exactly what I was needing on a chilly afternoon. It was a large bowl chock-full of veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, yellow and green squash, onion, mushrooms, green onion, diced red peppers, and carrots, plus chunks of avocado that melted in my mouth. The soup was hot with a nice clear broth, and the vegetables were tender but not mushy. There was also rice to make it a little heartier. Honestly, I wanted to know whose abuela was in the kitchen making that soup? It was so freaking delicious and comforting, I’ll need to try and make it at home since I probably won’t be back in Charleston. The place was filling up when we were leaving. Bathrooms were in the main part of the building lobby, right across from the door to enter Azul, and they were clean, spacious, and well maintained.
