My husband and I stopped in for dinner last night, 1 hour before they close. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table, not a big deal at all. The restaurant is beautiful! Food was amazing! Fresh ingredients, presentation and flavor! Jason, our server, was awesome! He was hustling through tables yet we never felt forgotten. He was on top of it! We will definitely come back when we are in the area again!

Wow. Came across this place today for the first time. This might have been our absolute favorite place so far to go eat. Our server Jeison, was fantastic, polite, attentive, etc. This place was popping, and service was never a letdown. Really enjoyed the deco, atmosphere, etc. We might even be going back here tonight to eat.

Jan 1 came back again and was another great experience. This time we had Priscilla and she did a great job. Look forward to coming back again.

We came to Azul after a day at Dollywood because we were in the mood for Mexican and were staying close to the restaurant. I had put in the reservation notes that we wanted to sit by the Dolly Parton mural, which I guess they didn’t see prior to today. But they cleared a table for us by the mural and made it all work. I loved the open concept of the restaurant: with nice big windows, adorned with plants, comfortable seating, colorful murals, and ambient lighting. I started off my dinner with a mojito. It came out in a nice big glass and you can’t go wrong with a classic mojito. Our waiter, Tysin, brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa had a lovely mild kick to it and chips were tasty. For our entrees, we had the chicken and steak fajitas and the chicken quesadilla. Both of our dishes were fantastic. The portion size is very good, and we even had a bit of leftovers to take home with us.
Tysin was phenomenal at checking in on us and making our dinner special tonight. If you haven’t tried Azul yet and are in this area of town, I highly recommend it. Also, reservations do help for dinner as on a Thursday night they were very busy. And if you really want fantastic and above and beyond service, ask for Tysin to be your waiter. Roger that!!

By far the best Mexican restaurant option around! The chips, queso, and salsa to start with were out of this world! Definitely going to come back when we’re in town. Our server Tyson was the icing on the cake! He gave us suggestions and was so genuinely nice. You can tell he enjoys what he does and that is shown with his service.

Had a great experience at Azul Cantina! The food was absolutely delicious, and flavorful. What really stood out was the service! Tyson was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He truly elevated the entire dining experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Tyson when you visit! We will be back!!

We had the pleasure of visiting on NYE. We tried to make reservations, but no one answered when we called.
We showed up and were fortunate to be added to the list for their NYE event which included a selected food menu, drinks and roof top access to the Island Fireworks.
Unfortunately everyone had the same idea to eat there because it got so packed. People were turned away eventually and the waiting area was shoulder to shoulder. However I think the restaurant and staff handled it well. After waiting over 1-1/2 hours, we had to ask for our place in line to be seated and so we made it to our table.
Service was fast, food was so deliciously good and the drinks too. Our waiter was amazing, can’t remember his name, just recall he was Wesley Chapel FL. Shout out to him for having such a good attitude despite the madness.
We were able to see the Islands Fireworks but didn’t see any of the champagne toast they advertised.
The Dj, music and games added for great vibes. Overall it was great and can’t wait to visit again.

Azul Cantina is a beautiful, colorful restaurant with a fun atmosphere and great salsa and queso. Unfortunately, the food I ordered just didn’t live up to the hype. I had the mini chicken chimichangas. The rice and beans tasted the same like they were seasoned with the same thing, and were pretty inedible. The chicken reminded me of pre-cooked frozen meat. The flavors didn’t feel even remotely authentic nor like Tex-Mex.
My friend’s chicken fajitas were better seasoned, so maybe I just ordered the wrong dish. Service was okay overall, but when I asked a question about the menu, the server just pointed to what I had already read. The response felt a little dismissive and dampened the experience.
One thing I noticed is that servers hand out cards asking guests to leave reviews specifically about the service. I understand the intent, but it does feel like a way to boost ratings while drawing attention away from feedback about the food itself.
The restaurant is gorgeous and very clean, but based on my meal, the food didn’t match the high number of 5-star reviews.

We arrived around 5 PM, and the restaurant was not busy. After being seated, we waited approximately 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The person who eventually assisted us was the bartender, which was frustrating, as during that time I observed him behind the bar attending to tasks rather than greeting tables.

After receiving our waters, I requested a Coke and waited another 10 minutes for it to arrive. At that point, we were only his second table, so the delay was difficult to understand. I also asked for Cholula sauce for my burrito, which was never brought to the table.

Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. My steak burrito contained a large amount of fat, making it inedible. Additionally, our food took over 45 minutes to arrive.

Overall, the experience was very poor. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food quality did not meet expectations. I ultimately went up to the bar to request our check because I was eager to leave. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.
