Lots of Vegetarian options and great ambiance. I will say – the vegan-chorizo tacos are a bit dry (could use a Chipotle-mayo type of sauce) and the red sauce could use more enchilada seasoning but otherwise a great place. Portions were huge and the chips and salsa were spot on. Just remember to bring cash as it’s cash only but there is an AtM in the restaurant.

Upon visiting this charming Mexican restaurant, I was absolutely delighted by their signature dish, the Molcajete Mixto. This dish isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that speaks to the heart of Mexican culinary traditions.
For starters, if you’re in pursuit of authentic Mexican cuisine, the Molcajete Mixto is a top choice. It’s a symphony of flavors, featuring a variety of meats and vegetables, all cooked and served in a traditional stone molcajete. The dish’s rich and earthy flavors, infused with traditional spices and herbs, transport you straight to the heart of Mexico.
Secondly, the Molcajete Mixto shines as a communal dining option. It’s perfect for groups, offering a shared experience that’s both engaging and delicious. The variety of ingredients ensures that there’s something for everyone, making it a unanimous favorite among diverse taste preferences.
Lastly, for those who appreciate variety and hearty portions, this dish doesn’t disappoint. The Molcajete Mixto offers a bountiful assortment of tastes and textures, making every bite exciting. And the generous portion size ensures that even the hungriest of diners will leave satisfied.
Basically, the Molcajete Mixto at this Mexican restaurant is a must-try. Whether you’re seeking authenticity, a meal to share with friends, or just a hearty and varied dish, this is the perfect choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant.

I’m Italian and Swedish, but I swear there has to be some Mexican in there because I LOVE Mexican food and drinks and culture! I’m so so excited that we were recommended this local gem. And I’m so glad you’re reading this because you NEED to go. Like get in your car, or hop on your bike, or take a plane instead of going to Mexico because this place is AH-MAZING (although the Delaware is very underwhelming compared to Mexican beaches). This place is authentic from the chef to the owner to the decor. I loved the secret entrance down an alleyway and the music playing while we ate. There’s so much to choose from on the menu, we’ll be back to try more. Our server was very kind and catered to our picky kid eaters. I had a delicious margarita and this mound of love the burrito sabanero ♥️ I’m eating my left overs for breakfast tomorrow because I can’t wait til lunch. Also the guacamole was so creamy and the salsa was super fresh. This was genuinely the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We found this place after extensive research. Had two other Mexican restaurant recommendations; however this one seemed to call my name.
It did not disappoint!!!!
I am a Mexican cuisine lover and look for authentic flavors. Aztlan totally delivered.
This is probably the best, most authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten (and I just vacationed in Arizona).
Bonus points to Aztlan for being so vegan friendly.

This place was soo delicious!! A little off the main road so it wasn’t over crowded. I got the combination plate with mole enchilada, fish taco, and burrito. The taco and burrito were delicious. I wasn’t a fan of the mole enchilada, it was a little bitter to me, but that was my first mole enchilada so maybe that’s how it should taste? Even the beans & rice that came with the dishes were delicious too – so creamy and flavorful. It is cash only, but there is an atm in the building. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!

We were a party of 10 at this location in celebration of my wife’s birthday. I must say how everyone as they ate commented on how fresh, delicious, and excellent their dish was. This is by far the best food I have ever had. The rice was excellent, fluffy and tasty. The portions were perfectly filling. In addition, the food was served in a timely matter.
The entrance is at the back left side of a breezeway. Also
Remember to bring cash.

Went in on a Sunday at around 6 pm and it was a bit lonely, the service was regular and the food was ok, portions were large and reasonably priced, it was authentic and overall a good experience. (Ordered the Chile relleno).
