We stopped at Azteca Xitlaly in Bacliff, TX, and it did not disappoint! The taqueria has a comfortable covered outdoor area, which made it a great spot to relax and enjoy the food.

I’ll admit, I was a little worried about my husband since he’s not usually a big Mexican food fan. Thankfully, the menu has something for everyone—burgers, seafood, and of course, amazing tacos. He decided on chicken and fajita beef tacos, while I went straight for the lengua and barbacoa with all the fixings.

These were honestly some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly tender, flavorful, and so good that we were scraping up every last crumb from the plates.

Highly recommend this spot—we’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time we pass through!

I recently visited this place and was immediately charmed by its super cute outdoor concept, especially the kids’ play area. It’s a great spot for families to enjoy some fresh air while dining. However, the service left much to be desired. I ordered a small order of tacos and ended up waiting for 30 minutes. It felt like my order was forgotten, as several other customers who ordered after me were served first. There’s definitely room for improvement in the service department.

To be blunt, this place SUCKED. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was packed. The meat had no flavor. I had to add so much lime and salsa to even get something. And the salsa sucked too! The cheese was no good and the tortillas were just not it. I’m not sure why but all of our drinks were flat. Do not waste ur time plz. I honestly don’t even know how they have good reviews or ppl that are actually coming. A la proxima ,mejor cocino en casa.

We’ve been going to this place for 5 years and it was better when they had the taco trucks versus the kitchen now. The elote is now sub par and the rice has been flavorless and hard. They started selling alcoholic drinks but they are overpriced and barely any alcohol. Just today I called twice to do an pickup order and they hung up twice. The third time went straight to voicemail.

I was taken here by a friend, and I have to say, I’m glad they clued me into this gem. I like the way they have the place set up, and there’s plenty of seating inside and out. All that’s fine, but the food is fantastic! I sat there thoroughly enjoying my meal. Those Birria tacos were the business. Next time I’m in the area, I’m making it a point to stop by again.

This use to have the best prices around but as you can see on their menus’ on the wall they have crossed out all the good prices and raised everything (just like most restaurants). What I hate more than corn tortillas is flour tortillas that cost $0.50 more. I will not spend $2.00 to order my favorite tacos. Any suggestions on other nearby good tacos, looking for real beef skirt tacos in flour tortillas?

We loved coming here… before. Tonight we made a trip we hadn’t been able to do in a few months. The renovations are nice and welcoming, however our meal.. very disappointed. We ordered 6 corn tacos Al pastor, we were asked if we wanted cilantro and cebolla which we said yes, “si, con todo” we also ordered bf fajita Gordita and bf fajita quesadilla. We received our meal and took it to go and didn’t check anything being that we’ve been here before and are never disappointed. They have drastically downsized on the corn tortillas used for the tacos; also they do not taste the same. They were mini tacos. For six tacos we only got two containers of salsa which were also downsized. The meat was way over cooked. We got no cilantro and cebolla for our tacos. The quesadilla literally only had cheese in the middle of the whole thing. The meat was way greasy. We paid $30 to be disappointed. This place isn’t local for us so we traveled to be robbed and disappointed. I’m so annoyed that we live in the world we do and going out for a meal is a luxury we don’t get often and we came here. What’s more upsetting is that I know how good they were before and I really get the impression that they let it get to their heads and lost sight of what they used to pride their selves on. Side note, I saw a different customer with the little tacos but the drastic change in size I really assumed they specifically ordered mini tacos. No way did I think that’s what they were charging two dollars for each. They’re just a little bigger than Jack In The Box’s mini tacos. They really need to reflect on wth they are doing because that was ridiculous.

The food was good (4 out of 5). The tortillas could have been better. The corn fajita tacos were small and were $2. Gorditas with fajita and cheese were $9. The Gorditas were a little greasy but overall good. I would go again for a quick bite. It looks like they have live music sometimes.

Went for the first time and everything was delicious. Great parking space, had a lot of fans for the heat, currently under construction to add restrooms and extend sitting space, had lots of trash bins to keep place neat, lots of tables under the roof and outside the roof, and paper towel dispensers.

They have 2 trucks, one does the main heavy dishes like tacos/burgers/tortas/etc. From that one we ordered 1 Large fajita quesadilla, 7 flour fajita tacos, 3 bottled drinks, and a kids meal fajita quesadilla that comes with rice and beans that totaled around $37.

The other truck is mainly more like seafood and snacks. In that one we grabbed a drink called “Tornado” with a Mexican hot dog that totaled around $10.

All the food was very delicious. They only provided one salsa, to which is was very good regardless together with some limes.

Really recommend this place. Lastly, both trucks take card and cash. They also do delivery through an app but forgot which one.
