My wife and I had a quiet night and decided to try Azteca and wow are we glad we did. I had the Fajita Burrito which was full of chicken and onions peppers and flavor, my wife had the quesadilla campestre which was equally as good. OUTSTANDING in all ways we can’t wait to come back

Ordered the Super Chimichanga. It was AMAZING’ …the cheese dip is the ideal thickness and flavor profile. The salsa is set perfectly with the its raw blend of ingredients. The onions, steak, and chicken elegantly intertwined within the deep fried flour tortilla. Flawless.

First I want to shoutout Gus! He is very attentive & sweet! This is our 2nd time here and we had him both times! We absolutely love the wings here! When they say it’s the best in town, they were not kidding. My husband and I both got the bone in honey bbq, the already devoured Tres Mosqueteros, & fried ice cream. 100000/10 recommend.

Did carry out. Got 9 tacos for 45$ dry, no sauces, rotton sliced limes. Top it all off got one half size margarita for 18$ which should have gotten two. Then they tried to sneak in a 10$ tip like I wasn’t going to notice 73$ for 9 tacos and a drink. Man I miss pacos tacos. This place did better before whats up with y’all?

Very nice restaurant, good food and service and a lunchtime menu. They’re in a military town and should consider offering a military discount, imo.

Azteca is a great family restaurant. We always go with a bigger group and they are super accommodating. The wait time for food is a little high sometimes but the friendliness and food quality makes up for it. The servers (even if they’re new) make you feel welcome, pretty good about filling drink, clearing table when done, etc.
It’s a great atmosphere for family gatherings, holidays, etc. Food is good in my opinion, not super fancy but tastes decent!

I think I’m kind of a Mexican food snob. My grandparents lived in Brownsville TX when I was very young, and we went into Mexico all the time, and I loved the food.
Mexican restaurants in the states are different, of course, but I am addicted!
One thing I find horribly lacking in most places, are the refried beans. Most places have bland, unseasoned refried beans that are simply plate-filler.
There was a place in Orlando, FL called Guadalaharvey’s that had the tastiest, most flavorful beans ever. They are gone now, but I always look for something similar.
They do a great job here. The refried beans are savory and full of actual flavors! Their chips are crispy and good and their salsa, while it has no heat, is still very good. I haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten here, plus, they have some hard-to-find, authentic dishes, which I appreciate!

Wow! I was truly impressed. From the salsa to the check it was delicious! I had the birria tacos. They were some of the best I’ve ever had! My husband had carnitas, al pastor, and asada tacos along with a beef flauta. The best flauta we’ve had. The tacos were also delicious! The guacamole and cheese dip were on point. Our service was excellent. We can’t wait to travel back through!
Update: Came back…wish I wouldn’t have….ordered carnitas and steak sopes. The carnitas were all fat. I LITERALLY had one very small chunk that was edible. The steak was chewy and hard all at the same time. I’ve chewed beef jerky that was was easier to chew. The cheese dip was soo thick I couldn’t get a dip without my chip completely crumbling. My husband had the fajitas and they seriously lacked flavor. Very disappointing. I’m only giving service a 4 because she didn’t read the table. No one ate their food and she never even asked why.

Wait a minute! We’ve officially eaten at most of the Mexican food places in Crestview and this place by far had the most fun vibe, felt like a family friendly restaurant, and the service was great! The vibrant atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff instantly made me feel at home. The menu offered a wide array of authentic Mexican dishes, each bursting with incredible flavors and fresh ingredients. I couldn’t resist trying their Tres Mosqueteros! SO good, spicy and bubbling when it arrived at the table! And my hurricane was the perfect balance! Can’t wait to come back! Our server Shelby is the best!

We’ve been coming here for at least 15 years. Great service, fabulous food, this is the place we eat out most often. The wings are the best in town! The Mexican chicken soup is so delicious!!! We were back today, chicken quesadillas, margaritas. Everything was excellent, as always. We feel like family. We’re so grateful for Azteca, the excellent staff, the fabulous food, now trivia on Tuesdays… they just keep getting better. A real local treasure. Thank you!
