Currently working out of town and this restaurant is literally a half of a mile from the job I’m doing. Because of its location, I opted for lunch there 2 days ago, as I was sitting there I called the homeowner that I’m working for, and offered to buy them lunch. She very quickly said no! We don’t want any food from there, we both got sick after we ate from there. I thought to myself, I’m already here and surely to goodness it won’t happen to me, as well. Well I’ve been home for the last 2 days because I have been sick.The first night I came home I was up at various times throwing up, as well as getting rid of it the other way, and I hate to say it like that, but that’s just the truth. I understand a restaurant from time to time could possibly make someone sick. However three people eating at a restaurant, all at different times, but within 2 days apart, with the end result is of three getting sick is highly unacceptable. This has caused my next job to have be pushed back a week, as well as this job not being able to be finished this week, due to this. I seriously considered calling the health department and having them come inspect food in this man’s restaurant to make sure that he’s not storing previously served food. I noticed upon eating the rice, that it tasted like a refrigerator, I stopped eating it immediately. I had a chimichanga off the lunch menu, I did eat that, along with the beans, but stopped eating the rice immediately after noticing it tasted like a refrigerator. Beware is what I’m recommending, esp if you have elderly that plans to frequent this location with you, and/or if you have young children, I would highly recommend not eating here.This has caused undue stress and pressures for my job, that I can’t control, with my customers house needing to be finished this week but now cannot be, all because someone wants to play around in the kitchen and make unhealthy decisions that has consideranly impacted someone’s well-being.

My granddaughter and I were traveling through Nashville & tried this restaurant. We ordered the fajitas & I have never seen my granddaughter eat so much. The chicken fajitas were terrific. Service was great. The restaurant isn’t fancy on the outside, but larger than it looks & nice on the inside.

Nice little clean place. Server was very nice but didn’t understand part of what we asked for but it was quickly fixed. Service for a mostly empty place on a Monday afternoon was a tiny bit slow. Chips seem like store bought, salsa is decent & nice chunks of tomato in it. My tortilla for my enchilada was very hard. But my chicken soft taco was great with lots of chicken. We also got blue Pina Coladas, which were very tasty.

Amazing food and amazing staff! The hot salsa was the best by far that we have had. It had so much flavor and the a kick at the same time. The lunch special fajita taco salad were very delicious. Everything from the food to the staff made our lunch experience the best! Will definitely be back!!!

Ignore the 1 star review people. I’m sure they are the same people that 1 star every other restaurant in town because there is no pleasing them. From the outside you wouldn’t expect the inside to be as large or nice as it is. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the restaurant was. They have a large selection of choices and the food was light years better that El Tap. Service was quick even though the restaurant was packed. If you haven’t tried it, give it a shot. Pumped Baxter has a quality Mexican restaurant!

Ordered take out tonight. Literally live 2 minutes away. Everything was delicious. We ordered chips cheese dip salsa. Fajitas and a quesadilla. Definitely going to be a staple in our dinners!
