Will NEVER cheat on our regular Mexican restaurant again! $62 for what? A kids meal for nearly $13 that is just pizza rolls and shoestring fries, a grilled chicken salad, the most basic of beef nachos, and 3 beef tacos.

Azteca Maya is one of our go-to spots in the neighborhood. The food is consistently good, the service is friendly, and it’s an easy place to relax or catch up with friends and family. I would like say that it’s one of the best Mexican place around augusta area we visited so far. I love how they present salse in the glass bottles. It tastes amazing and fresh. It is also enough spicy. Chips are so addictive. We needed to ask refill couple times. Quesadilla had a unique presenting way. I usually eat it with hands but in this restaurant it wasn’t possible. Fahita was good, beans too. Toilets were clean and smelling good. Even though it was a lot of people due to event.
It was easy to find server, and she always was checking on us. Price point is a bit high compare to Texas. But compare to Augusta is normal.

Got a bit loud when there’s music playing and people are talking as everyone is competing to be heard, gets worse when more people come in. Service is excellent, they check on you often. Chips are fresh and food is good. Portions are what you pay for so enjoy and sauces are plenty.

Great little local place!!! Have been slightly displeased as of late with quality though. Margaritas are kind of weak…weaker than they used to be. Overall could be spicier. But LOTS of food!

It’s right outside our neighborhood and honestly such a hidden little gem.
We love all the staff there, they are always attentive and so nice.
The food is fantastic! The portions are big and I can hardly ever finish them.
We usually order tacos for our kiddos and a big bowl of rice for our youngest who absolutely devours it.
I highly highly recommend the fajita taco salad with steak. The seasoning on the steak is fantastic, the veggies are hot and so well cooked (they still got a little crunch, not mushy) and the rice and fried tortilla shell are just delicious.
Hubby usually gets the chimichanga which comes with a delicious creamy sauce on top.
And can’t forget, they always bring your chips and yummy salsa to the table as soon as you sit down.

The meat was well seasoned and cooked. The steak and chicken especially were just spectacular, juicy and tender. Kids meals are huge and have lots of options. We ended up taking half of our food home because there was so much, so it is well worth the price. The salsa has the perfect amount of kick and flavor. And the staff are so friendly and kind. We are so happy to find a place with yummy food that feels like I’m back in CA. Thank you!
